Additional Information

Cuma holds significant value in the entire region of Campi Flegrei as it testifies to the earliest human settlements in the vicinity. Despite its relatively confined area, everything in Cuma paves the way for historical exploration. The nearby city of Pozzuoli, which is only a few kilometers away from Naples, exudes a sense of rich antiquity. As you wander through Pozzuoli’s old town, you will inevitably stumble upon remnants of grand, ancient monuments that provoke the feeling of traversing through ‘little Rome’, amidst the ruins of a once glorious city. Here, history comes alive to the sound of sea waves. The Baia baths comprise a beautiful orchestration of buildings and spaces that roll down to the sea. Far from being mere thermal establishments, accommodations, villas, or temples, the Baia baths represent a blend of every element, preserved over time.

Thoroughly recommend. - Excellent experience . Great for those wanting to see important but lesser known ancient historical sites. The local guide was passionate about the changing history of his home and spoke good English.
