I recommend it, it was magnificent. - Me and my 16 year old son absolutely loved doing this tour and would recommend it to ANYONE wanting to have an experience in Guayaquil and wanting to see animals without spending a fortune to go to the Galapagos. Our guide was awesome - super-friendly, helpful, considerate and extremely knowledgeable. I love Guayaquil and in my opinion, the media makes us see this city much darker than it is. Downtown Guayaquil has many many places to visit, there anyone can spend two days seeing so many beautiful tourist attractions, which make you feel like you haven't seen enough. thanks again

Excellent - Since they picked me up at my hotel it was a very good experience... They gave me a totally personalized service, Yamil taught me the ecosystem and the importance of the mangroves, then they took me to the bird island where I could see a great diversity of boobies, herons, frigatebirds, roseate spoonbills, something totally fascinating. The truth is that I had a wonderful day and then to end the day well they gave me a delicious fish ceviche. I recommend this experience 100%, it is an excellent option for your time in Guayaquil.

Fun trip - We spend a wonderful day touring Porto morro and a boat riding to this bird island. Our guide Simon and Yamil are amazing. On the way back, they took us to a private ranch for a late lunch and it was a quite interesting experience as well. Strongly recommend this trip!

Wonder Tour, Bird Island out of Guayaquil - We had an informative and wonderful tour out of Guayaquil, to see the dolphins and an amazing amount of frigate birds on an island. Added enjoyment was driving through the Ecuadorian countryside and seeing a fishing town. Simon Penafiel and Yamil Saman gave an excellent tour. Also, our cruise ship was not helpful at all with accurate disembarking directions - and Simon and Yamil were very helpful and diligent in keeping up with the changes via WhatsApp.

Wonderful day! - Our guides made sure to make our day special. From the care to stop and watch and follow the various dolphins in the harbor, to pointing out the various species of birds, and then to our special “surprise” visit to an organic cacao plantation (not in the original itinerary) on the way back, it was a day to remember. They were thorough in providing all stated items on the itinerary, timely in their communication and kind throughout the day. Thank you for a wonderful day!

A great trip - What a lovely day we had. The drive to the mangroves was a little longer than anticipated but nice to relax and see the countryside. The boat ride was great and Simon and Yamel (sp?) were helpful and alert to pointing out the various birds. The best was finding the pod of dolphins that cavorted around and under the boat. The next best was the fabulous lunch on the way back in an out-of-the-way restaurant. We were blessed with beautiful weather which capped a great excursion.

Once in a lifetime dolphin experience! - We had another great day with Yamil and Daniel! We were picked up at our hotel and started driving out to the area to see dolphins and the mangroves. On the way out we stopped at a location called Cerro Del Muerto. It was a nice hike and we got some great pictures of the birds and the scenery. We then took a boat to some rocks in the bay that were home to a lot of birds. We even got to see a Blue Footed Booby which aren’t often seen by the mainland. As we headed towards the mangroves we saw a solitary dolphin once or twice and a lot of different types of birds. Then we were treated to several dolphins swimming extremely close to the boat. There was even a baby dolphin in the group. We got some great pictures and thoroughly enjoyed the experience! Afterwards we went to an out of the way local restaurant that was incredible! Great food and service! Yamil knows all the great places to go that you would never find on your own. Between the dolphins, the birds, the hike and the food, the day was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend you book this tour! It was our second tour with Yamil and we are looking forward to a third tour as well in a few days at the end of our trip. Any day you get to see wild dolphins is a great day! Thanks Yamil! We were dropped off at the end of the day at our hotel and Yamil and Daniel went above and beyond in every aspect. Thanks again!

Exciting and interesting tour. - The most memorable was seeing a school of dolphins. Like the dolphins are happy to perform for us. The different species of birds was an incredible site to see. The mangrove was fascinating as well. But of course the people that came with us, the tour guide Simon and Yamil were fantastic hosts. I would recommend Viator tour anytime. Excellent service and excellent hosts.

Great tour. Language issues... - I give 5 stars for the trip itself. Our guide, Simon, was incredible- his knowledge base was deep, he listened to our questions with respect and gave detailed answers. He is fluent in both Spanish and English. The trip through a saltwater estuary lined by mangrove forests was amazing. We saw lots of birds, saw the ripples caused by the catfish that inhabit the waters and saw a crocodile or two as we slowly traveled up and down the estuary. The booking website is an issue. We were forced to make a reservation for 4 adults and 2 children even though we did not plan to bring any children with us. Despite numerous messages back and forth the tour operator never quite understood that there were no children on our tour. When I asked for a refund for the cost of the (non-existent) children- he refused. That was disappointing (as well as expensive) which is why I give a rating of 4 stars.
