Starting from the historic center, you will see the wonderful Sintra National Palace with its two distinctive chimneys, an ancient summer resort for many throughout history. The traditional narrow streets, where we will find the secrets hidden through times. You will visit Regaleira state, an amazing place filled with magic, where it is also said that JK Rowling, the author of Harry Potter, found the inspiration for her work. You will visit the 18º century Seteais Palace and the Monserrate Palace before we start our way up to the top of the hill, where we will find the Moorish Castle next to the astonishing Pena Palace and respective gardens, as well as the sea from a distance.

History 101 - The most memorable part of the trip was talking history with Bruno! He was so full of knowledge and so kind. He took EXTRA good care of my mother in-law! He attended to our every need. He customized the tour for us and made sure we did the things WE wanted to do. We could not have asked for a better tour guide. We would come back to Lisbon just to hang out with him!😀👍

Perfect first day in Portugal - Bruno was a true delight, so knowledgeable and friendly. This was a perfect way to start our Portgual vacation. Gorgeous scenery, history and relaxing but active day! Bruno even bought us some local pastries to try. I would recommend the full day as the half day went by too quick. Bruno recommended Cascais to end our day and then we took the train back to Lisbon and that was absolutely perfect!! Highly recommend this tour!!

Wonderful tour of Sintra and Coastal area - Thoroughly enjoyed our 1/2 day trip to Sintra. We only had a few days in Lisbon and this was an excellent and efficient way to see the surrounding areas. Our guide Bruno ensured we had the best views and access to sites. Sintra is VERY hilly and parking is very limited. It is very helpful to have a local guide. We also went by CaisCais on the coast which is so beautiful. Highly recommend!

Great Private Tour - Bruno was the BEST tour guide for my family and myself. Zero issues, and he knows all about the history of Portugal. I would definitely recommend him to anyone that is interested in this experience. We had a great time and would do it again!

An amazing tour - I highly recommend this private tour of Sintra with Bruno. Bruno provided our family of four with so many options of things to do and see in Sintra and Cascais! He was extremely knowledgeable as a lifelong Sintra resident and we learned so much.

The private tour to Sintra is a must! - This private tour is HIGHLY recommended. Our driver/guide Bruno was awesome! He coordinated with us in advance, was extremely knowledgeable, and so pleasant. Sintra is very crowded with tourists and having a private experience allowed us to take things at our pace, get to the front gate for entrance and customize our experience to see what we were interested in seeing.

Great experience - It was a great tour and Bruno was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and thoughtful. My mom had limited mobility and he made sure to help her in the car and stop very close to all attractions
If we were to do it over again, I would skip the interior of the Pena Palace. Long lines and slow moving inside.

Amazing tour with No 1 Guide - Carlosh - We have just returned from an amazing full day tour in Sintra.
Carlosh the guide and the driver was excellent. He has vast of knowledge, understanding, sense of humor and sensetivity. We covered almost all the attractions in the area, learnt a lot about the history, culture, architecture, nature and had lots of fun together.
At the end of the tour we had some personal issues and Carlosh was so sensitive and make all efforts to support and assist us as much as he can and even more and this is why he is Number 1 !

Fun day!! - What a great day. Raphael was a knowledgeable guide and so nice. He drove us around and showed us so many great things, whether small or large pieces of history and fun trivia about Sintra. He truly loves and appreciates the country. Ask for Raphael you will be happy you did.
