• A1 - Following the pick-up, the journey will proceed along the A1 for 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach the Fatima Sanctuary. During the drive, fascinating insights into history, culture, and traditions will be shared.
• Fatima - The tour begins in Fátima, one of the most significant Catholic sites, where it is believed that Our Lady appeared to three children, known as the three little shepherds, in 1917. During one of these apparitions, three secrets were disclosed, famously known as the three secrets of Fatima.
• Leiria District - The journey continues to Nazaré through the scenic areas surrounding Fátima, offering delightful countryside views. It will take 30 minutes to reach Nazaré.
• Nazare - After departing from Fatima, a half-hour drive will lead to Nazaré, where a lunch break will be taken. In Nazaré, stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean can be enjoyed. As a fishing village, it is an ideal spot to savor delicious grilled fish. The visit includes the fort of São Miguel, known for the world’s largest waves. In 2011, Garrett McNamara, a renowned surfer, rode the biggest wave ever recorded.
• A8 - The drive to Óbidos will be via the A8, also known as Autoestrada do Oeste, a Portuguese motorway that traverses Extremadura, linking the Lisbon Metropolitan Area with the Oeste and Leiria regions in central Portugal.
• Obidos Village - In the afternoon, the final stop will be Óbidos. Here, a journey back in time awaits. The entire town is enclosed within the castle walls, creating a medieval atmosphere. In this charming setting, the famous Ginjinha de Óbidos will be sampled. After the tasting, there will be at least an hour to explore independently before returning to the accommodation.
• A8 - The tour concludes with a return to the starting point, with a journey time of 1 hour and 30 minutes.
