Additional Information
A highly sought-after tour graces the Eastern landscape of Madeira, showcasing striking views of both mountains and forests, complemented by some of the island’s finest seaside vistas. The tour provides a three-course meal and is carried out in contemporary, air-conditioned minibuses which accommodate between 8 and 15 passengers in addition to the guide/driver.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult. We need to know the age of the child so that we can supply the correct chair. Strict laws do not allow children to travel on parents lap
- At time of booking, cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time
- May be operated by a multi-lingual guide. If there is 5 or less people that speak the same language they may be mixed with a bus that speaks another language. The guide will however be speaking in all the languages required.
- Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund.
- The tour route can be changed due to unforeseen circumstances, such as traffic restrictions and weather.
- Not recommended for travelers with mobility problems

The Best! - What a wonderful trip. Lucy our guide was fantastic. Her knowledge of the island was excellent. We went to what I consider to be the most beautiful areas. The stops were paced well. Our driver was extremely safe ( necessary on some roads). Highly reccomend.

Incredible experience - Unbelievable experience we could’ve not asked for a better guide and driver
Gomes was Unbelievable
So detailed oriented which was not an exp expectation from past tours of other countries
Proud of his country speaks from the heart and shows the love of Madeira on his sleeve
If you are doing well he walk make sure you have the right shoes
Lunch and as ok not one I would recommend
But let me say it again Unbelievable full day from 9 am to drop off 6
Weather although no grantees was incredible for April. Would do any tour were I would know that Gomes was our driver and tour guide incredible soul ! Thank you and muito Obrigada

Loved the tour! - We had a very friendly tourguide Michael. He told us a lot about Madeira. Loved all the stops. I’m glad I choose the east side tour, because this has a lot of mountain roads. The day after we hire a car and than we can drive the more save roads on the west

Great east tour! - The guide Tony, multilingual, very hospitable and making sure we got everywhere safe with excellent driving.
The cliffs on the east shore, the walks, the views it was all great!
Lunch was included and really good.
So we recommend this tour.

A lot see on this excursion. - Great landscape to admire. Knowledgeable guide. A nice lunch with our package. A lot packed into the whole day - although we didn’t stop at the trout farm just a glance from the van.
Our only disappointment was when booking a small tour, that is the expectation.

A Wonderful Way to See Madeira - It was all pretty memorable, and not one thing stood out, but the whole experience was fantastic. I'll start with our guide, Michael, who is knowledgeable, organized, and caring. you can't beat that combination - he was amazing at every turn, patient, and kind, but easygoing and funny. The locations along the tour were at once breathtaking, historical, and beautiful. Lunch was served to us in the biggest restaurant I've seen in Madeira, think catering hall but more charming with very good food. The tour was almost too long, eight very full hours. My only problem was getting in and out of the van. A step stool would have been ideal instead of relying on Michel's arm each time we got out to sightsee.

Eastside Madeira - Definitely recommend a small group tour. Driver/guide was very informative and drove very carefully on those windy roads. Highlight was the short Levada walk.
