Enjoyed learning about wonderful Lisbon - Had a wonderful 4 hour walking tour with Pedro. We toured our first full day in Lisbon and we were glad we did. Pedro knows a lot about the history of the city and country and we enjoyed asking him many questions in an effort to learn as much as we could. He has a very easy going delivery. He paced things very well, we stopped at a couple of famous storefronts so we could taste local treats and he made recommendations for places for us to explore on our own, several of which we followed up on. Highly recommend City Unscripted and Pedro.

Excellent - Ricardo was an excellent host. He took us to some amazing local restaurants and we loved all of the food. He also slipped on some historic aspects to the tour and knew everything about Lisbon. If we go again we shall definitely book again, many thanks, Austin

Tapas and Tascas Tour in Lisbon - We had a fantastic guide with Pedro. Took us to great places to eat some authentic Portuguese dishes. Visited some beautiful vistas and learned a great deal about Portugal’s history.

Great Lisbon tour - We had an amazing tour of Lisbon with Pedro. He was insightful, knowledgable and friendly. The tour was well paced and offered up the best views of Lisbon, some great food and a good overview of the city.

Disappointing walk with no local history or gems - Let me preface this review by stating I’m usually a 4 or 5 star reviewer.
Our tour guide was Paul. Paul was a nice guy, but that’s where it stopped.
Paul was not Portuguese, he was from Nigeria.
He had very little local knowledge, knew no hidden gems and spoke very bad english with a very difficult to understand accent.
He took us to very very touristy places that we had mostly already visited alone. We had to inform him that the famous Lisbon earthquake and tsunami happened in 1755, and that a fish name translated to cod.
We expected a tour guide with knowledge of the history and culture of both Lisbon and Portugal, that is not what we got.
We were very very disappointed since we had read such good reviews of this company tour.
Perhaps if we had been given a different guide it would have been excellent. Ours wasn’t

A very bad day in Sintra - I paid 714 euro for a private daily tour with an Italian guide but what I got was what a rasta not-very-clean girl that only spoke Portuguese and some Spanish, not even English. She just drove and left us alone to visit every place and did not say a single word throughout the entire day. During visits, we listened to other groups’ guides and read info on the internet. She picked us late in the morning at the hotel and continued the whole day, having no idea of where to park, no plans for the day, skipped half of the locations expected when I bought the trip. During the day I talked on the phone with the local agency and Viator but they did not help, they just wanted to sell me a trip knowing that they had not a guide available and no refund was provided. Unfortunately our day was totally spoilt and that is not refundable.
