Our signature bike tour offers the best views of Portsmouth and New Castle Island, particularly during the stunning Fall season. Soak in the immaculate views of the Piscataqua River and the Atlantic Ocean as we cycle through islands near Portsmouth, historic gardens, parks, and onto New Castle Island. There, you’ll witness the breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean, lighthouses, forts, and the most scenic vista of the surroundings. Along the way, we’ll make stops to share fascinating stories, fun trivia, and historic nuggets about the area.
Be sure to arrive 30 minutes early at the Historic John Paul Jones House as our tours are punctual!

10/10 recommend - My friend and I ended up needing something to do in Portsmouth. We luckily stumbled upon a bike tour and had the best time! Our guide, Tammy, was AMAZING! So knowledgeable and fun! I definitely want to take another tour when I’m back in town. This as an absolute must do!

Outstanding! - The entire bike ride was comfortably paced and not rushed, including stopping to get water and a bathroom break. It was scenic from start to finish and very relaxing. Marcus was laid back and passionate regarding the area and history of Portsmouth and New Castle, New Hampshire. Looking over the Piscataqua River to Maine was cool. I will be back for another tour and found a beautiful, scenic park off the beaten path to spend the day at picnicking and watching the boats sail by. Rich in history and beauty!

Great Tour for Inexperienced Cyclists - The tour was excellent. This was my first time on a bicycle with gears, and it was my first time riding a bike in almost 20 years. Our tour guide, Paul, was energetic and knowledgeable. The scenery was beautiful and the hills were not too bad! I would highly recommend the tour.

Taste of Portsmouth - This tour is a great way to get a taste of what Portsmouth has to offer. From the beautiful coastal views to the stunning architecture, this ride has something for everyone. It's a great way to whet your appetite to return and explore more. Marcus, our guide, was entertaining and informative. The bikes were comfortable and easy to shift.

Great bike tour! - We really enjoyed the guide bike tour! The guide was great. He gave us a lot of interesting history and stories along the way. It's a lot of biking so be prepared! The scenery is beautiful.

Great Bike Tour for all ages - My husband and I enjoyed a great bike ride and historical tour of Portsmouth and the nearby islands with our guide Marcus. Some people in our group chose to rent ebikes. There was also a family with two young children that they accommodated with a baby seat, plus a smaller bike attachment. Marcus educated us in a way that was both interesting and enjoyable. I now have a new list of things to do and see when I visit Portsmouth in the future. I would highly recommend this experience for all ages.
