Everyone gets to paint a Tile (Azulejo). We’re open to pets, and we’re more than happy for your animal companions to join the excitement. Tile Painting - It was all memorable. The instructor was very good at helping and spoke English very well. Definitely would do it again when in Porto.

A fun activity - It was so fun to learn more about Portuguese culture and especially the story behind all the beautiful tiles that adorn the city, and then try to do one yourself! Highly recommend this experience.

Tile Painting - a Classic Portuguese Art Form - Beatriz lead a wonderful class on tile painting. I had a friend visiting from the US and we thought it would be fun to spend some time learning to decorate tile using traditional Portuguese patterns. We were right! It was a small group for this particular class. Beatriz showed us painting techniques and how to use the materials. After the class our tiles were fired in an oven and we got to take home our creations. Lots of fun and a nice way to spend a some time with a good friend. This was my introduction to painting tiles and I would love to do more of it!

A fun time and souvenir in one - This was such a lovely workshop. Everyone was really nice and you could see Beatriz's passion for the subject in her way of teaching. You get such a lovely souvenir out of it as well!

domus.arte - An activity designed for art lovers. In this tile painting workshop, you will have the opportunity to create your own beautiful tiles in the traditional Portuguese style. No prior training is required and, with the help of expert tutors, anyone can do it. We had a great time painting our tiles with Beatriz. She is very sweet and patient and helped us when we needed it and offered suggestions when we had questions.

Must do activity in Porto - Federica was great in giving us a bit of a background in tile painting and then guiding us through the process. The hours flew by so quickly aswell as you do need to focus on the tile. But again Federica was on hand constantly to give us guidance and support and steer us in the right approach.
100% recommend this as an activity for anyone visiting Porto.

Learn, paint and laugh while tile painting. - We thoroughly enjoyed our Instructor Beatriz. She was delightful, knowledgeable, and friendly! Not only did we have an excellent experience learning how to tile paint, but also we learned about the history and culture of Portuguese tile painting. Beatriz took time to connect with everyone there and she gave drinks and delicious cookies. We highly recommend this everyone! It’s memorable and fun!!!
