Domus Arte’s unique 2-hour Tile Workshop takes you an exciting dive into the core of Portuguese traditions.
➡️ You shape your own artistic path: opt for the conventional method and have a finished tile in 24 hours, or the modern approach for an immediate work of art. Everyone gets to paint a Tile (Azulejo). We’re open to pets, and we’re more than happy for your animal companions to join the excitement. Learn, paint and laugh while tile painting. - We thoroughly enjoyed our Instructor Beatriz. She was delightful, knowledgeable, and friendly! Not only did we have an excellent experience learning how to tile paint, but also we learned about the history and culture of Portuguese tile painting. Beatriz took time to connect with everyone there and she gave drinks and delicious cookies. We highly recommend this everyone! It’s memorable and fun!!!

Creative guided experience!!! - Such a fun experience! I went to this solo but didn't feel alone for long. Fernanda facilitated an inclusive environment and guided even the most novice artist to create a beautiful tile. The best part was how we were given outlines/examples but encouraged to tap our creative intuition. I can't wait to share my self made souvenir! Also, the store where The workshop is house has super cute knick knacks. Make sure to look around!

Wonderful, memorable experience! - I had the best time with Fernanda learning about the history and evolution of Portuguese tiles! Painting my own tile created an original souvenir and will be a wonderful memory. Fernanda is a wonderful teacher and a fantastic artist.

Painting in Porto - This was a terrific way to spend a rainy afternoon in Porto. I happened to be the only in participating in this particular class, so I got a personal, hands on experience. Beatrice not only showed me how to paint the tiles with her expertise and artistry, but she also explained the rich history of the Portuguese tiles that are all over this amazing country. This was a great workshop and I got a wonderful souvenir of my time in Porto!

Amazing Tile painting workshop - An fantastic Portuguese experience!
