- Igreja dos Clerigos - Spiritus, an audiovisual experience, pairing light, music, and architecture in the heart of Clérigos Church, in Porto. Created by OCUBO, this immersive experience takes its religious location as a premise to carry the spectator on a spiritual and emotional journey.
Freely inspired by the poem “In the end, the best way to travel is to feel”, by Álvaro de Campos, the show brings to the fore the existentialism of Fernando Pessoa’s heteronym where the concept of being the union of the individual with the outside world.
With an abstract look and intense soundtrack, the church architecture’s filled with visual poetry, lightness, and sync.

Great multi media experience - Highly recommend seeing this in Porto. One of the best multi-media presentations I have seen And in this amazing historic building. Paid parking lot across the street and well worth the 10 euros to see it

Spiritus - The music and lights were truly moving! It was a full experience and I’m so glad we got to go as a family. My daughter lay down and watched the ceiling, she loved it.

Best Illumination Show - We watched Spiritus and thought it was a great illumination show. The use of the church was well done. The show runs about 30+ minutes which is just enough. A nice bit of evening entertainment in Porto.

Good lights. No plot! - The attraction of lights and sounds is well produced, of good quality. However, there is no plot or theme. The lights cast on the walls, ceiling and altar of the church do not have a context, a story. It could be a play of lights done in any other location, as it does not have a religious content. A series of good and beautiful images, but with no connection to the location. 30 minutes of lights and it ends up being very tiring. Price 10 euros per person.

Projeções bonitas, mas desconfortável - The projections are beautifully done, and the Clerigos's Church is very beautiful, although we can't see it well because the lights are never fully turned on at any moment.
However, unfortunately, looking up for 30 minutes is very uncomfortable, my neck and my mother's neck hurt a lot, and this greatly hindered the experience.
We also didn't like the music, which sounded like an action movie soudtrack most of the time... Classical music would be much more immersive (but that's just my opinion). Finally, I believe there should be a warning for people sensitive to strobe lights, labyrinthitis, or motion sickness.
