Excellent tour of Douro Valley - We had a fabulous time with Martin. He is an excellent tour guide with impeccable English and lots of patience. The Douro Valley is breathtaking and this tour gave us a great “taste” of the scenery and the port wine. The wine tasting at Sandeman was worthwhile just for the stunning views. I highly recommend this tour!

Views, views, and views! - We had a great day at Douro Valley! The weather was great, the views amazing, and Carlos was a great guide and driver. At the end of the day, Carlos dropped us off at a seafood restaurant he recommended in Afurada where we had a huge bowl of seafood rice and a seafood platter. It was a perfect end to the outing! The only thing I would suggest is to add the use of a microphone so Carlos didn't have to turn his head when talking. It made us nervous on the mountain roads. BTW, we had lunch at this newly opened restaurant called the Bridge 1870, the food was very good.

Awesome trip, highly recommend!!! - Our guide, Carlos, was awesome: engaging, informative, and a superb driver in challenging conditions (rain). Our group found him to personable and enchanting guide. He made the trip a fantastic experience! Ana, the trip coordinator, was extremely accommodating and made the trip exactly what wanted. Of the 5+ tour companies I reached out to, Ana was the only one who was willing to adapt our planned itinerary. Overall, we could not be more pleased with the communication, flexibility, and tremendous professionalism of their team. Highly, highly recommended.

Carlos is fantastic!!! - Carlos is fantastic!! He was very knowledgeable about Porto and Duoro Valley wineries. It rained a lot on our tour and he was quick to make different arrangements that were more suitable to the weather. He was kind and reliable. He gave us our space while being close enough to add to the experience with his knowledge and care for us. I am hearing impaired and found it difficult to understand some of the guides who had thick accents. He let everyone of the guides know and they were very attentive to me to make sure I understood everything. I would highly recommend him!!!

He was informative and went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. Even assisted us with errands once we returned to Porto and returned missing items we left behind in his vehicle. Could not have asked for a better day in Douro Valley with Carlos. Five stars! Cheers!
