Wonderful City Tour with a Porto Local - Manuel was an amazing tour guide! We absolutely loved our time learning about Portugal from him. He did an excellent job explaining Portugal’s history and answering our questions. His knowledge was incredible - the information about the tiles in the train station to the country’s history to the style of the churches. We saw several parts of the city, and he also took us to the fortification at the mouth of the river/Atlantic ocean and to a port wine tasting. At our request, he recommended a restaurant for lunch, and it was the best meal we had in the area. He was kind, helpful, and informative. A GREAT day!

Great combination of walking and driving to see it all! - Our guide, Jose, walked with us through areas that are best seen on foot in the winding, narrow, and crowded streets of central Porto and also drove us to the outlying areas along the river and ocean. It was a wonderful balance that gave us a quick overview of the highlights of this beautiful city. We appreciated the individualized attention and willingness to customize this excursion to best fit our interests. We felt the tour was an exceptional value.

Good tour to see a lot quickly - Great way to see the top sites if you are short on time. We had a great time. The highlight was going across to Gaia and looking across the river at Porto. Being able to drive up the hill instead of walk was worth it. I wish they let you pay for a different port tasting instead of the lowest level.

the forgotten Porto City tour - We waited 30 minutes on the street before going to where we could make a wifi call to the provider since we got no response to our Trip Advisor text as to where the driver/guide was. The provider was VERY confused at first and didn't seem to know we had a tour booked with them. Finally asked to give them another half hour to see if they could get a driver there. Rather than the agreed upon pick up spot we had to go to the end of the street to wait. Manuel arrived an hour and fifteen minutes late from original start time. Manuel did a nice job giving us an overview of the history of Porto using the Sao Bento train station and the cathedral to explain. We had an early wine tasting/tour so went there next. It was well done. After that we had a panoramic driving tour of Porto including the coastline with informative interpretation by Manuel, but nothing like what the Trip Advisor overview had indicated. Not sure we'll book another tour with Trip Advisor.
