Highly recommend! - It was only my second time surfing and my instructor, Mafra, was amazing! The day I had reserved was bad weather (too windy), so after going to assess the situation, we decided to come back the next day. He dropped me off close to my hotel and also picked me up there the next day as I was the only one who had reserved a lesson. The weather was still not ideal the day after, but much better than the first day and I was able to stand up a number of times and Mafra's tips helped a lot! He was also very pleasant to talk to and get to know and gave great tips for restaurants in Porto. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

It was fun! - Great experience! Really helpful and easy-going teacher who is passionate about surfing and make you feel the same :)

Definitely worth the money. - We had a great time and enjoyed ourselves for three hours. The instructors were very good and pleasant, so even though we had never surfed before, we managed to stand after only 20 minutes. Definitely worth the money.

Great introduction to try out surfing - We got divided into first timers and people who already know the basics. Great teachers that teach the beginners the rules and basics of surfing before going into the water, then stay in the water and help you to do it better. At the end I was able to ride a wave to the shore and feel comfortable to try surfing again by myself. It's surprisingly exhausting though, bring some snack for energy

Everything perfect. - Pick up was easy and unproblematic. The surf teachers were all really helpful and very nice. The mix of new surfers and a little bit experienced ones were no problem.

10/10 would surf again - Mavre bester Mann. Very nice surfing course. The best of all three I have done yet, mostly due to the very good instructor.

Superb surfing lessons in Porto! - I surfed again with these guys after surfing with them already like 4 years ago and what can I say, - I enjoyed it so much. First of all the meet-up in the city of Porto was very easy-going and the meeting-point was easy to find and accessible. Furthermore we left right on schedule and everything was well organized. During my three-day-experience I had 3 instructors in total (on two days it was Bruno and Mavre and on the other Alec - I'm sure the spelling of at least two names is wrong here, so sorry). Every one of them was very nice and competent. Whereas Bruno and Mavre seemed to be more experienced Alec kind of pushed one more out of one's comfort zone (in a good way ;)). Especially Mavre and Bruno were good in creating an atmosphere of acceptance and general laid-back spirit during the lessons that took of a lot of pressure off of feeling the need to perform well. Surfing is hard and in the beginning you tend to get frustrated a lot. Both of them adressed this issue openly and stressed that everyone is learning on their own pace and shouldn't stress too much. I feel like this helped a lot of people to get into surfing more freely. Also this lead to a really good atmosphere among the surfers with a lot of cheering up each other and celebrating each other's accomplishments. Furthermore I got some really nice pointers on how to improve my surfing :) During all of this the guys understood how to through in some of the good Portuguese humour that loosend up any upcoming annoyance after being hit in the face by an enormous wave for like the 389393. time ;) had a good laugh again and again! The drop-off always worked out fine too and all of them were driving very responsively! :) Thanks again for contributing to my more than nice Porto holiday! I enjoyed surfing with you guys so much and will totally book again when I'm re-visiting Porto (which I surely will because it's just such a nice place). BIG RECOMMENDATION! Lot of love Yasemin
