Perfect way to learn to make Traditional Custard Tarts - Patricia, our host, was fantastic, very welcoming, and spoke perfect English. She made us feel at ease as soon as we arrived in her beautiful studio. There were 5 people in total, three of our family and two others. Patricia took us through the whole process of making the traditional Portuguese Custard Tarts, each of us taking turns to do different parts of the process. Once in the oven, we were offered a drink - Port Tonic is very yummy and we all chatted for about 20minutes while’s the tarts cooked. Then, as if by magic, a beautiful tray of traditional custard tarts appeared from the oven, which we sampled with another drink. This was a perfect way to spend a morning in Porto and I would highly recommend.

Fantastic little activity for a day in Porto. - This was such a great experience and Patricia was so very knowledgeable. She served little cocktails, typical of the region, and had a great sense of humor. The best Pastel de Nata we’ve had yet!!

The best Pastel de Nata workshop! - Such an amazing experience! We visited Patricia's Pastel de Nata workshop on our trip to Porto, and not only did we make some great food but we also had some great conversation! Patricia is a welcoming host who kept us chatting while we made the Pastel de Nata, telling us about the history of the pastry and giving us her recommendations on other places to see and things to eat in Porto.
