Knowledge, friendly guide, ready to customize your trip to your needs. - Bruno was great and was the only tour responsive super late, last minute, the night before we wanted to go (I think we also got lucky that someone else cancelled). Bruno was super nice, friendly, spoke great English and was incredibly knowledgeable about the park, and really ALL of northern Portugal. He was happy to cater to our interests and took us too an incredibly beautiful swimming hole in the mountains. The hike up was not easy, but definitely worth it if you are physically capable. I felt safe the whole time.

Highlight of Our Trip - Our national park tour with Bruno was the highlight of our trip to Portugal! He was an excellent guide, making the experience both fun and informative. We enjoyed stunning views throughout, and the tour offered a perfect balance of hiking and sightseeing. Bruno’s enthusiasm and knowledge added so much to the trip. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore the park with a great guide!

Amazing and beautiful experience in Geres! - Really great time exploring Geres national park with Ricardo! He took us around to some great views and beautiful crystal clear water. Lunch was at a small local restaurant and one of the best on our trip! I 100% recommend this trip! Remember to bring good hiking shoes (I wore my trail running shoes, which worked well). And if you want to swim, a swimsuit and towel (I forgot a towel - Ricardo bailed me out there and had one!)

Mountain Exploration Day Trip - My partner and I booked a tour to Geres with Trek Portugal, Bruno was our guide. He shared lots of fun history of the natural area and the wolves. We talked about the land and the trees as we hiked up to the overlook, then Bruno led us back into the hills to a pristine swimming hole for a swim and a picnic. On the way back we saw the wild horses in the meadow and got some more history of the local villages and the wolves. It was a great time and I would book again with these guys.

Great trip and guide - My wife and three kids had a terrific experience exploring the national park with Bruno as our guide. Bruno provided great insight on the area and broader region/country and blended in seamlessly with our family. The amazing swimming holes helped everyone cool off from the hot summer temperatures and were definitely the highlight. Overall, great trip and guide!

Must do tour with Bruno! - You’ll regret not taking this tour with Bruno. With it being a small group, we were completely able to customize the trip with our 4 month old baby. Bruno knew exactly where to take us and I don’t feel like we missed anything, despite having a baby. We saw multiple water holes we got to swim in, great view points, amazing lunch and Bruno was so knowledgeable and passionate about the area! 5 stars! Highly recommended

Highly Recommended - We debated about doing this tour or just heading to the park on our own to hike around and we are so glad that we made the choice to do this guided tour. I’m sure it is a night and day difference. We learned so much about the area - the culture, the language, the history, the geography, you name it. Bruno took us to small villages, great short hikes and vistas, and a restaurant with excellent food and atmosphere. Highly recommended, we never would have had such an experience on our own.

A day full of remarkable locations and insights - We had a great day touring Peneda-Geres with Bruno. He picked us up directly from our guesthouse and took us on an almost 9 hour tour. You couldn't ask for a more knowledgeable guide. Bruno is an expert on the history, geography, nature, and the people of the region. He explained how the locals have lived in the region for centuries, shepherding their flocks, watering their land from mountain canals, and now conserving nature. We made many stops with hikes along the way. Highlights included an ancient Roman bridge, an ingenious trap for funneling wolves, several waterfalls, and a vantage over much of the park. There's no way visitors traveling independently could hope to see and learn as much as Bruno showed us. Excellent value. The restaurant you stop in for lunch is a bit pricey, so travelers on a budget might want to choose the picnic lunch option.

An unforgettable trip! - We met Bruno for a visit to the Geres natural park. We spent extraordinary moments in silence, immersed in nature, among the less traveled paths that only the local inhabitants know about. We also learned about the culture and life of those who are there every day. Bruno was punctual, attentive to our every request and respectful of our times and needs. A truly pleasant climate of knowledge and sharing was created in which telling stories became enriching. Thanks so much Bruno. We hope to rely on you again soon for other new adventures!
