Embark on a journey to the breathtaking Douro Valley in a comfortably air-conditioned vehicle, setting out between 8:30 and 9:00 am. We’ll halt for a short coffee break just before our first activity, providing you the chance to rest from the drive and catch your initial glance at the magnificent scenery. Your day commences with a serene one-hour cruise along the Douro River, perfect for taking in the remarkable landscape.

The next stop is lunchtime at an impressive vineyard. Here, you’ll savor a four-course meal, which includes wine from their own collection, at a historic 17th-century property, topped off with a tasting of their exquisite Ports.

Further on, seize the opportunity to explore another small-scale family-owned production site, where the love for the trade is evident in their craft. Sample their red, white wines along with honey, bread, and olive oil from their personal produce.

After a fulfilling day of wine tastings, sit back and unwind on your drive back to Porto.

• The day before the tour, you will receive the exact pickup details regarding pickup, meeting point and time;
• Parents should bring the baby car seat ajusted to infant’s age (1 to 3 years old). We only have seats available after 4 years old.
• This tour may be done in two languages. We try to avoid it, but sometimes we have no other solution.
• This tour has two different options, with or without hotel pick up. If you choose the option with the meeting point this tour may or may not be done in a minibus or bus. If you choose the Small Group with hotel pick up option, this tour will be done on a minivan and a group of up to 8 people;
• For the ones that choose hotel pick-up, if your accomodation is not in a very easy to reach location, we might ask you to meet us at a close by location;
• Private option it’s done in a private vehicle only with your private guide. The vineyards and rest of the locations are shared with other participants.
• For lunch we provide meet, fish, vegan and vegetarian option.
• We do tours all year round, in the winter it is cold and in the summer it’s hot, please dress appropriately
• There is not much walking involved, but please bring comfortable shoes;
• Don´t forget to bring your camera with you!
• This tour last around 9 hours, but it´s subject to local traffic conditions or visit schedules;
• Reschedulings with less than 24 hours before the start of the tour will be charged a 30% fee (subject to availability);
• The order of the tour or partners visit are subject to change depending on availability;
