Additional Information
Embark on a day-long exploration of the Douro Valley while riding comfortably in a vehicle. The journey involves wine tasting, savoring a traditional Portuguese lunch, and experiencing a boat trip (1h) on the Douro River. The tour provides two choices: one includes a pick-up from our designated meeting point, and the other includes a pick-up from your hotel. This will be specified at the time of booking. The tour is conducted in the following languages: English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Minimum age to drink is 16 years, but everyone can participate on the tour
- Vegetarian option is available
- The services included in the tour are subject to third party availability and may change without notice.
- Usually tours run in one language but there are cases where one extra language or more can be used.
- The wine estates are subject to availability and may change to similar options with no prior notice.
- You may be asked to meet your guide at a point no more than 5 minutes on foot from your location (for the ones that choose hotel pick-up)
- Our groups per vehicle can go up to 30 people
- Seating for children is available, they are not allow to go on the laps
- The pick-up at Hotel is only available for the ones that choose the Pick-up included option.
- For the ones that choose the pick-up included option if the address is not given more that 24h before of the tour they have to meet the guide on the meeting point.
- The ones that book Portuguese tours, may have to do the visits in English to the wineries
- Since they request a minimum number to provide a tour in Portuguese language, if they do not reach it you will have to join the English tour

Great tour! - Wonderful tour to a very special place- the amazing beauty leaves you breathless in awe…Overall the tour is Well organized, travel on mini bus was comfortable and wine tastings and lunch were fabulous!! A very fun way to spend the day - This trip was so much fun. Our guide Maria was full of energy and joy it was impossible to not have a great time, and she made the drive time pass quickly. The wine tasting was fun and educational and the boat ride was through beautiful county.

Life is but a dream: Porto edition - Wine was fantastic, the cruise was fantastic, ah Portugal is amazing 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. I would recommend this excursion to all that want a true taste of Portugal.

It is worth the money! - We got picked up from our hotel and Pedro was our driver and tour guide. He was fantastic- we had such a great time. He was very knowledgeable about the places we visited. The drive was long but Pedro entertained us throughout and it soon felt like journey with a group of friends.
The tour was exactly as described, and more! I plan to visit again and will definitely do another tour!!!

Douro Tour - Our tour guide, Sriah, was witty, funny, friendly, engaging, knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating. She went above and beyond. We had a nice time on this tour with her and Ribiero (our driver. It was a long day for him so kudos to him for maintaining his cool under pressure and getting us all home in one peace).
As for the tour - it was a very long day. We went to one vineyard where we had wine tasting, lunch (the food was really good) and some downtime to explore the gardens and winery. The second stop was a wine shop (not a vineyard, which was disappointing). I was also under the impression the bus would stop at some vista points so we can step out and take some nice pictures as shown in their profiles. The boat cruise was relaxing. Overall, it was a nice experience.

Enjoyable experience - Our trip was the highlight of your Porto trip. Sriah Mariano was our tour guide and she was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. She definitely made the experience more enjoyable. Julio was our driver and he navigated through the up/down/curvy roads safely and carefully. The winery tour was well organized and the catered food was very delicious. We will definitely be recommending this tour to our friends and family.

A nice day out but not as good as it could have been - Scenery is beautiful. Port wine lovely, however bus ride was bumpy as I think suspension on van needed maintenance. Food & beverage at the winery was disappointing, pasta was not hot enough & servers did not keep glasses filled adequately. Quality of wine at lunch wasn’t great.
Tour guide was Jose, who was great.
