The journey kick-starts with a trip to a port wine producer, Quinta da RoĂªda. Here, you will be led on a private guided tour through the vineyards, where the creation of port wine will be detailed. A wine sampling follows this, coupled with a curated assortment of Portuguese cheeses.

Post-tasting, we move on to a traditional wooden boat (Rabelos) for an hour-long voyage. This calming excursion offers a prime opportunity to take in the gorgeous scenery of the Douro Valley.

Lunch is offered at a scenic farm facing the vineyards, offering a diverse range of meal choices, be it fish, meat, or vegetarian - all encompassed within the tour price.

The last stop is at a small table wine producer, presenting a unique chance to mingle with the local folk. The tour is crowned with an olive oil tasting session.

Amazing time & so worth the small group! - My Fiance and I could not be more happy with our tour with Alex. He was punctual, funny, so informative, and made our expereince so memorable. Alex was right on time with pick up and made our car ride so fun. We were with 4 other people from all over the world and he had us engaging with everyone and giving us history about the valley as we were driving through. I would HIGHLY reccomend doing the small tour, it was personable, we had plenty of time to drink wine, enjoy the scenary and the wine cellars. Alex made our trip amazing and we could not ask for a better day

Perfect day in the Duoro Valley - We had a wonderful day with Sarah - the most excellent tour guide. The itinerary and timing was very well organized. The first winery, Quinta dos Castelares was excellent- the food, the wine & port and our guide. The guide was the best- lots of fun and very knowledgeable. From there a lovely lunch, a boat ride on the Duoro River (perfect length, about 50 minutes) and a second wine lasting at Quinta da Faz. The wine & port were very good, but the tour was a bit too long.

Brilliant day trip to the Douro Valley - A wonderful day trip from Porto to the Douro Valley. Our guide (and driver) Sara was fantastic. She was full of interesting facts about Porto and the wine regions and looked after us brilliantly all day. I was travelling on my own but as it was a small group it was easy to feel included. The wineries we visited gave us a range of wines (white, red, rosé and port wine) to taste and the tasting guides at each place were knowledgeable and passionate about their products. Lovely lunch with an amazing view too. Highly recommend.

Perfect day trip - The tour was great value for money. Marcelo was a fantastic guide and super friendly. There is a lot of wine and port wine included on the tour. Views were incredible and photos just don't do it justice. I would definitely recommend to anyone as it made our trip

Not as expected - The car, wineries and sights were beautiful. Amazing country side with stunning views, however the driver was supposed to be a guide and he was not. He just drove us really fast and when I asked to take a picture at a spot we could stop he said we were late. No conversation or explanation at all except for winery guides. The boat ride had a nice view what the mountains from the river but that took one hour just going in a circle .

A wonderful day trip to The Douro - Our guide was punctual, well informed and super friendly. Knowing more about each Quinta (Vineyard) ahead or our arrival would have been useful. We were very lucky that the whole group was very compatible

expensive for what we received - The wineries and wine were very good. the boat ride down the douro river was beautiful but not guided and no wine so could have been better. The lunch spot was way too touristy with less than average food.
