- Our studio is located in a typical and narrow street of morro da Sé Cathedral, in a walking distance you will find Sé Cathedral, Ribeira, D. Luis I Bridge, Guindais, São Bento Station, and the neighbourhood of Sé itself it’s a typical and magical place full of inspiring spots.

Family friendly art experience in Porto! - We had an amazing time, went with our whole family, including my parents in their 60’s and my 6 year old daughter. Everyone had the best time, it was a perfect way to spend a rainy afternoon in Porto. Our watercolors turned out great!! Hugo was a helpful and patient, and he has many of his beautiful works around the studio for purchase as well. Highly recommend booking this experience!! Thanks Hugo!!

Great fun *and* an original souvenir! - Hugo was a friendly and excellent instructor. He made sure that everyone in the class was easily following along, and we all have an original souvenir of Porto. I highly recommend this experience!

Highlight of our trip to Porto! Highly recommend. - Amazing experience. We loved the watercoloring and meeting new people. The studio was such a warm and welcoming environment. Hugo was a great teacher and I felt I learnt a lot during the session. We have now found a new love for watercolour paintings and hope to continue learning at home.

Fantastic artist and guidance! - What a fantastic artist and experience! Hugo is so warm and friendly, he makes you feel so comfortable and able to give this a go, even if you've never tried watercolor (or any other art) before.
This was a really relaxing and engrossing couple of hours and we all ended up with a watercolor that we weren't ashamed of 😅.
Highly recommend Hugo and his fantastic watercolor sessions!

Amazing Watercolor Experience! - Hugo was amazing with our watercolor vlass. He was very accommodating to our limited schedule availability, extremely personable with our two younger children, and communication was great beforehand to help personalize our experience. Highly recommended!

Delightful Experience! - This was a delightful experience! Hugo was so kind, patient, and knowledgeable. We were a group of two couples on the last day of a 16-day visit to beautiful Portugal. We had an absolutely wonderful time learning how to watercolor paint with Hugo and also bought one of his beautiful pieces of art from his store. Very reasonably priced. He wrapped everything up very securely and gave us a wonderful lunch recommendation nearby. You will not be disappointed with this experience! Hugo is a class act!

Painting in Porto - spent a wonderful 2 hours painting with Hugo and 3 other people...The studio is lovely and airy. He has the perfect Portuguese scene ready for you...just follow his step by step instructions. You end up with a beautiful piece. Probably will be one of my favorite memories of Porto.

Intimate Watercolor class 10/10 recommend - This class was awesome! At first I was nervous as my painting did not look very similar to Hugo’s but trust the process! Everyone’s turned out great. The outlined template to paint on top of was very nice to have as i’m not the best artist. Hugo was super friendly, engaging and made sure to go at a good pace for everyone. He did not rush anyone at all and was patient with us. He is super sweet and so authentic. I would have signed up for another class if I had some more time during my trip
