A fantastic experience - highly recommend! - This tour was a highlight of our trip to Porto. Our guide Miguel was outstanding, and provided great history and insight into the food and wines of the region. The tour was super well-organized, and Miguel was kind enough to share many recommendations for restaurants. This tour was worth every penny!

Taste Porto was Amazing! - The tour at Taste Porto is a wonderful experience. Discovering the unique ways locals enjoy food and drinks is a direct way to learn about the culture, history and vibe of a location - and Taste of Porto delivered all of this in one delightful three hour walk. Not only did we eat and drink well, we also enjoyed learning the back stories of the people, places and culture. I can’t recommend this adventure more highly in its entirety, not only for the food and drinks but for its knowledgeable staff and their obvious passion for Porto.

Excellent food tour of beautiful porto - I always choose a food tour when visiting a new city and and the Taste of Porto Tour did not disappoint. Our guide. Miguel, was very engaging and friendly and definitely conveyed his love of Porto and the food experiences. We had been in Porto a few days before doing the tour, we didn’t repeat anything that we had already seen, and it just added to our enjoyment of the city. I would definitely recommend this Tour. It was great to meet the local vendors and hear lots of anecdotes about the culture.

Very enjoyable tour - We enjoyed the Vintage & Port Wine Tour which we did a day after arriving in Porto. Miguel was engaging with a good sense of humour and obviously enjoyed sharing his knowledge of the city and its food. We had visited the market on our own before the tour but Miguel brought it alive as a local. Many thanks.

Wonderful way to explore Porto and try new flavours. - Miguel was so welcoming and brought the group together well for a fun morning of exploring Porto and all the different foods. He made every feel comfortable and answered lots of questions no matter how random.

Amazing Immersive Food Experience - Miguel provided us with an amazing experience our first day in Porto! He was thoughtful, knowledgeable, and friendly creating an amazing immersive experience. We went back to the vendors at Baohol market based on his recommendations. This will be our benchmark for all future food tours in our travels. We selected the private tour with extra dish and it was completely worth the price!

Fun day eating authentic Porto cuisine - Miguel was my guide on this tour. He was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the Porto area, food, and wine. He interacted with each person, and made all of us feel very comfortable, and like we were getting individual attention from him. The information, the food, the atmosphere, it was really fun, and I had a great time!

Outstanding guide and group caneraderie made it the tour of the holiday! - Miguel our tour guide was so professional in guiding us around the sites and tastes of Porto and managed the personalities and characters in the group with impeccable whit. The group all mixed from the first tasting venue, laughing and joking whilst sharing food, drink and tales of Portugal. Miguel made the whole group feel welcome, involved and accommodated the food dislikes/ intolerances without making anybody feel left out. He was really knowledgeable and clearly knew the market well, introducing us to characters about the place. Yes the food and wine was good but it was the local interactions, banter and group camaraderie that made it - we didn't want to leave!

Brilliant Tour with Taste Porto! - This was by far the best thing my mum and I did in Porto! We were really impressed with our guide, Miguel, who has boundless energy and interest in all topics! He was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional, and we'd do another tour with Taste Porto in a second. We met a small group of other people and started at the Bolhão market, visiting various fish, meat, cheese and wine vendors, and ending with fresh fruit. We then went to one of the oldest restaurants in Porto, before ending the tour at Popina. Everything was delicious! Miguel told us lots of interesting facts about Northern Portuguese and Porto culture, food and history along the way, and was open to every question. He really is a credit to the company, and we can't recommend this enough.

Awesome food and wine tour Porto - Miguel was a very knowledgeable and entertaining guide.We visited the local food market and tried local wine and specialties . We probably wouldn’t have seen that part of Porto if we had not done the tour, but we went back to the area for dinner in the evening.The port tasting was also great.
