Book this tour!! - Camille was an absolute fabulous guide! We had an amazing time and it was clear she is the “Queen” of Wine country! We were really looking to just spend a day sampling different wines but it turned into a true interest and education! Everyone was so passionate that we found ourselves becoming intrigued and asking more questions! We went to a few different wineries and even went to the olive oil mill as an added bonus! This is a wonderful tour tailored to your requests. There was only 2 of us so I appreciated that they did not cancel the tour and really catered to our needs! The lunch provided was great and a nice addition to a fantastic day. Look no further…this is the tour for you! We will be back!

Lovely wine with a lovely guide! - My boyfriend and I booked the tour last minute and Wayne was very accommodating. We actually got lucky and got a tour for just the 2 of us! We had the pleasure of doing the tour with Teri as was a lovely person to be around. She’s very knowledgeable, provided a lot of insight on the wineries and history of Oregon with a few funny jokes. All of the the wineries that we visited were wonderful (2nd one being our favorite) and even decided to take back 12 bottles of wine! On the drive to the first stop, it started raining and it made it such a beautiful sight. I definitely recommend this tour and if you’re lucky, you might just get Teri as your guide.

Amazing, cannot recommend enough! - My husband and I participated in the full-day wine tour with Wayne as our guide, and it was the highlight of our entire Oregon trip. The Willamette Valley is stunning, and Wayne took us to all the best spots. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable about wine, but he knows just about every winery in the entire Valley. If you need a recommendation, he is the person you should talk to. This tour is incredible, and I cannot recommend it enough!

This tour was the highlight of our trip to Portland! - Wayne was a total blast as well as being super informative. Prior to the tour he kept in contact with me via text regarding pickup, what our tastes were and even how he could accommodate a non-drinker in our group of four. Wayne picked up promptly at our hotel (even a bit early!) and we hit the road. Our first stop was at Red Berry Farm which was adorable and had fabulous apple cider donuts as well as local goods. We visited Lange, Styring and Fairsing. Each location was breathtaking and we even were able to meet the winemaker at one location.Wayne provided a delicious lunch for us and made sure we were hydrated throughout the day. He even made an additional stop at a hotel we were at previously so my friend could retrieve the ipad she had forgotten. We are already planning our next trip to Oregon Wine Country with A Great Oregon Wine Tour!

It's Willamette, damnit! - Camille provided us with a fun & informative tour of some lovely small properties offering a peek into some of the area's top notch wines. She provided personal stories of interactions with the wine making families as well as some cool geeky geological facts that inform the region's terrior. A truly wonderful way to spend a day in this beautiful region. Heck, she even arranged a solar eclipse for our viewing pleasure! Highly recommended experience!

Great Day of Wine tasting - Our guide, Wayne, is very knowledgeable about the area and the Vintners he chose for us to visit. We visited 3 very different, but equally lovely wineries. Our favorite was ultimately Styring Vineyards. Beautiful tasting room with views to die for of the rolling Chehalem hills. They were casking one of their wines in new barrels, and we were invited to observe and learn about the process. Super fun day!! Highly recommend Wayne for planning a great day for you.

Pinot Noir country. - Teri was very knowledgeable of all things wine and Portland. The wineries were beautiful but the last two were more welcoming than the first. Pinot Noir is definitely the main wine of this area which is not my wine of choice but did find 2 that were very nice. Tastings were a predetermined list of wines. If Pinot Noir is your choice then I would recommend taking a tour.

Wine is fine, skip the lunch - Wine tour was nice. Took time with us, we tasted reasonably good wines & learned a lot. The lunch part of the tour was a mistake. The lost our reservation and their solution was to put us in a sort of pen with other walk-in’s. Full picture was that we donated to a non-profit via an auction offering a private wine tour for 8 people. I get this impression this is a new marketing strategy for Willamette Valley Winery. Obviously, the primary benefit of any wine tour paid for by customers or not, is the winery. In this case we added the lunch, expecting to pay for it and enjoy the afternoon there. We confirmed with them a few times prior to arriving & when it came time for lunch, they didn’t have a table for us. No apologies from management, just sorry folks, parks closed…They went on to try to make fools of us putting us in an open mezzanine area with other walk-ins. There is no table service, we were “allowed to” purchase lunch, bring it up to the tables and eat there. picnic-style only indoors on a mezzanine with no view other than the dinning area were we were supposed to be. I won’t comment on the wine, i’ll just say - skip the lunch, unless you know someone in management that will confirm your reservation day of.
