Sushi knowledge is power - I recently went on the Sushi Tour and it was an amazing experience! I learned so much about the sushi I was eating and discovered new types of fish that I never knew existed. The tour was led by Beau La Fave, who is an expert in the Portland sushi scene. He took us to some of the best sushi restaurants in the city and introduced us to the most creative and innovative sushi chefs.
The Omakase plates were the highlight of the tour. Each plate was made with love and care by the skilled Japanese chefs. I loved the experience of trying new flavors and textures and learning about the history and culture of sushi.
Thanks to the Sushi Tour, I now have the knowledge to experience more sushi and appreciate it even more. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves sushi or wants to learn more about it.

10/10 amazing experience - 10/10 This tour is amazing. I learned so much about sushi. I’ll never look at sushi the same again. The tour guide beau was so knowledgeable and charismatic I thoroughly enjoyed my time. He gave me amazing history on Portland and recommendations for restaurants.

The perfect sushi tour - My husband and I just finished our sushi tour last night and we had a great time. The food and presentation were amazing. We are fans of rolls and do not usually eat a lot of nigiri sushi. That will change. We had the most delicious melt-in-your-mouth perfect bites of nigiri. It was a gastronomic journey that I would gladly embark on again. For anyone seeking a great sushi experience, this is a must-do tour.

Fun Food - When I was visiting Portland, I booked a Sushi Tour. My tour guide was Beau, and he was hilarious, knowledgeable, and excellent company. Given the cost of some of the dishes he supplied, it was also excellent value for money. As we walked between restaurants, I learned a lot about Portland's past and present. It was a splendid evening that I would thoroughly recommend, and I now know a lot about Japanese fish!

Fresh sushi and wasabi!!!! - The Sushi Tour was amazing! The sushi and sashimi was fresh and delicious. During the tour I was able to try fresh wasabi for the first time and now I can't go back to the "regular" wasabi at most sushi spots. Beau is very knowledgeable about sushi and the locations we visited. I would definitely recommend this experience to my friends.

A beautiful experience - I took my friend on this tour for her birthday. We had a fabulous time learn from Beau and enjoyed the opportunity to try new things. Beau is very knowledgeable about products and does a phenomenal job at explaining the mouth feel and experience that you will have with each bite. He’s also a hoot to interact with. He folded nicely into our conversation and I felt like he’d been a staple in our group for years. It was easy to be ourselves and let the conversation flow freely.

Such a good way to get a taste of Portland - Beau was a great host! He was fun to spend time with and taught us a lot about sushi, Portland, and why Portland has great sushi. Every place was high quality and every dish was beautiful and delicious, but the final stop at Kaizen was the highlight - some of the best sashimi I've ever had.

Portland Sushi - Fantastic experience with Beau La Fave on our Sushi tour. He clearly has a passion for sushi. The places on the tour were unique-we could see why he picked them. Beau knows Portland so it was fun for us to get the inside scoop! The sushi was fantastic. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to get the Portland Sushi experience!
