Great day for a bike ride - We were a small group but it was a great experience! With Pierce as our guide we traveled up and down hills, thru neighborhoods, over bridges and thru Forest Park. A wonderful day for a bike ride! Pierce rode his non-electric bike and I was very thankful for the E-bike I was given!

A business built on love, experience, and community - I went on the Forest Park Tour being a newbie into the Portland area and MAN! Is this a fantastic way to see the amazing forest park & the surrounding Portland area! The tour was excellently guided by the store manager who has over 10+ years of bicycle touring experience and it shows. The tour was a great mix of sections of history, going slow through the park, and enjoying the speed of the park. All at well timed out sections. There is plenty of soaking in the views & zooming through the park if you so wish. The company itself is also dedicated to helping the local community with a donation wall for the less fortunate & ran by an excellent husband and wife duo. If you are looking to see the wilderness, city, and support a GREAT local business you have to check out this place! You will not be disappointed!

Forest Park ride and adventure! - Our group rode around 7 miles each way up to Forest Park and back. Graciela guided us out of the city and into the park safely. We learned a little about the city and the area and its history. Our e-bikes were excellent! Fitted well and comfortable.

Perfect Blend of Adventure and Local Flavor - We had an awesome experience with Cycle Portland! We did a half-day gravel ride followed by a beer tour with Donovan, and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip. Donovan was super friendly, knowledgeable, and an all-around great guide. He took us on some amazing trails that matched our skill level perfectly—challenging enough to be fun, but not overwhelming—and kept the ride interesting the whole time. On top of the great biking, Donovan gave us tons of insight into Portland’s history and culture, which made the experience even more memorable. The beer tour afterward was a perfect way to wrap up the day. We’ll definitely be booking again next time we’re in town. Highly recommend!

AMAZING TOUR, GREAT VIEWS, SUPER NICE TOUR GUIDES! - We had the most amazing time, such a fun ride! We really enjoyed getting to know forest park and some of the bridges (you could go out and Back through forest park, but since we didn’t know Portland that much we decided to go out through forest park and then went back to the bike shop through another route where we were able to see some rose gardens, and other tourist attractions). The views were STUNNING. We took so many photos and videos! At first we were a little skeptical because though I’m a cyclist my boyfriend is not. He was a quite scared of not being able to do the route or having to get off the bike and walk the different hills. To his surprise, he was able to do all the route without a problem (even faster and ended less exhausted than me) because he was using an E-BIKE. I’d really recommend getting the E-BIKE if you’re not an experienced cyclist just so you can enjoy the tour more. If you want to get more of a workout out of it you can adjust how much the bike assists you. Jayden was such a great tour guide, he gave us all the tips and tricks to make the ride more enjoyable and also took us to see other tourist attractions on our way back. He also even helped us taking pictures and videos to upload on our social media! Definitely recommend bringing snacks to make pit stops and enjoy the views while you eat a granola bar or something of that sort (they sell some cliff bars and other snacks in the store so you don’t have to bring them from home). 100% recommend doing this tour if you’re getting to know Portland or even if you know Portland well and just want to go to forest park and not get lost, I’d definitely do this tour.

An Unforgettable Ride Through Forest Park with Cycle Portland! - My recent Forest Park bike tour with Cycle Portland, expertly guided by Donovan, was an absolute blast! It was more than just a bike ride; it was a perfectly curated journey showcasing Portland's natural beauty and vibrant culture. The dense forest within Forest Park was a true highlight. Pedaling through the cool, shaded trails felt like a magical escape. Equally impressive was the exhilarating crossing of the iconic St. John's Bridge, offering breathtaking views of the Willamette River. Donovan's guiding truly made this tour exceptional. His adaptability to the group's skill level meant everyone felt comfortable, confident, and connected. He fostered a fantastic group dynamic, and his thoughtfulness extended to a perfect refueling stop at a local coffee shop. We also enjoyed the vibrant wall murals and paintings that added an artistic touch to our ride. Donovan even captured fantastic action photos of the group – a wonderful bonus! I highly recommend this Cycle Portland tour, especially if you're looking for an engaging way to explore Forest Park and beyond with a truly skilled and personable guide like Donovan!

The Best 3.5 Hours on a Bike! - This was a fantastic ride through the forest! A total of about 11 miles on the gravel, the rest is city streets and two bridge crossings. We rented e-bikes and I highly recommend them for the novice cyclists. Our guide, Charlotte, (on a conventional bike) was super! She was patient and fun! This was a unique opportunity to cycle through the nation’s largest city park that happens to be a stunning forest.

Wonderful Forest Ride - A wonderful ride with Cycle Portland. James provided me with a great mountain bike. We switched out the seat for something that was closer to my own and set the ride height perfectly. I took the new forest park ride, which starts at the bike shop near the old town/China Town area just north of the University of Oregon Portland campus. We went across town to leave Erickson Trail in the Forest Park. We followed the entire Forest Park all the way north west beautiful forest wonderful ride then we cross the St. John’s bridge to Cathedral Park along the north side of the Willamette river and back to the bike shop . James did a great job of narrating the areas that we went through and much of the history of the area in general and the ride was about 26 miles. The forest area was the highlight for me and wonderful to go through a really great ride. Thank you all that Cycle Portland.
