Take this tour! - What a wonderful experience! The tour guide, Ray, had endless knowledge of the inner workings of the fishing industry, harbor, and overall history of Portland. There was never a lull in our experience- he kept pumping us full of fun facts! The food was DELICIOUS. We got to experience the freshest fish taco with beer pairing, our choice from 5 different chowders (I chose the traditional clam chowder), smoked scallops and mussels from the local fish market (which I’ll be returning to buy), a wonderfully simple yet exquisite lobster roll, decadent chocolate truffles, and divine gelato to end the tour. I went solo on this tour and met so many kind people. I highly recommend!

Great Tour - Our tour guide, AJ, was knowledgeable, friendly and witty. She went out of her way to make sure we sampled a variety of foods and some of the samples were full-sized portions. Ask for AJ and try to take the tour at the beginning of your stay if you are looking for restaurant recommendations.

Great tour. - This tour allowed us to eat some of the area’s local cuisine and get some history lessons as well. Chowder and lobster roll were my favorites. Tour guide AJ went out of her way to make sure we were fed and entertained. Thoroughly enjoyed this tour.

Best of the Best! - I loved inclusion of history and trivia that added to the amazing food which was , of course, expected. I didn’t expect such large portions with doggie bags!

Best way to sample Portland’s great restaurants! Ask for AJ! - We had an excellent tour from AJ! Our group was small, so she packed the tour with as many experiences and samples as possible. She’s very knowledgeable about the area and grew up in the culinary world. She loves great food and she knows where to find it. We had the most delicious clam chowder we’ve ever tasted and a James Beard award winning ale. She also knows a lot of vendors and shop owners in town, so ask her about the best places to pick up a souvenir. Request her if she’s available, you won’t be disappointed!

Great tour, and highly recommend!! - This was a great tour and I highly recommend it if you’re in the Portland, Maine areas. One of the best. AJ was our tour guide and she’s very knowledgeable and made it fun. Super friendly and encouraged us to ask any questions we had. I would say she went above and beyond, and gave 110%. I also loved all the extra goodies she got for us on this tour. I would definitely do another tour if she was the tour guide. Well worth the price.

Enjoyable and informative foodie tour - Tim was an excellent and very friendly tour guide. Great personality and very informative. The food and drinks we had along the way were excellent. We would highly recommend this tour if ever in Portland Maine.

Great food tour in Portland, Maine!! - Ray was incredible. The tour was great. It was surprisingly entertaining and the food was great. I came in hungry and ended with a full belly and full of spirit (hint hint)!

A fantastic introduction to Portland - We started our visit to Portland with this tour and it proved to be a great investment. Ray was our guide and provided a great mix of history and food knowledge along the way. Many tips for additional restaurants to try were provided during the tour. This was our first food tour and would highly recommend it to anyone considering it. With so many options in Portland this really provided a great start to our trip.
