We’ll stop at a selection of three local Portland, ME alcohol producers including Shipyard Brewing Company, Aprs, Three of Strong Spirits, Blue Lobster Winery, Stroudwater Distillery, and Bunker Brewing!

Monday - Thursday

We kick off our adventure in East Bayside with our first destination being Blue Lobster Urban Winery, where we will meet and learn from some of the city’s best vintners while indulging in wine tastings.

A brief stroll will take us next to Apres where we get a taste of their rich, aromatic hard seltzers and crisp alcoholic apple ciders.

A bus ride then takes us to Bunker Brewing Co., where we can take pleasure in icy beers either in its capacious tasting room or on their outdoor patio!

Friday - Sunday

Our journey begins in East Bayside, with our first halt at Lone Pine Brewing, a popular brewery known for its warm ambiance and remarkable beers.

A swift walk brings us to Three of Strong Spirits, for an opportunity to taste their spirits and understand their passion behind investing time into crafting top-tier rums.

With our palates suffused with rum, we board a bus to enter the quintessential Old Port area of Portland, with a visit to Shipyard Brewing Company to try a variety of seltzers and beers that are exclusively brewed and served only at this Portland location!

Meet your guide inside of the retail store, Portland Beer Hub (320 Fore Street, Portland, ME 04101) in downtown Portland's Old Port. Arrive at the meeting location 15 minutes before the start time of your tour to ensure a timely tour start.

Katherine and Mark’s Excellent Beer Adventure with Zach & Missy - We booked our tour for midweek. When we got to the Beer Hub, we found out it was just us four and that Zach had opened the store just for us. He kicked us off with a beer tasting. Pete, our tour guide was awesome - he talked about the area and had a great sense of humor and offered local hotspots to visit after the tour. Tom at the rum distillery gave a great tour of the facility and schooled us on the rum making process. We sampled some great canned drinks and a couple of shots of the signature Three of Strong rums! At Lone Pine Brewery, the beer flowed freely and you’d swear the server was Casey Affleck’s lookalike! We ended the tour back at the Beer Hub where the magic began! Zach talked about the beer industry in Portland and all over New England and our Katherine offered to buy another patron a beer if he ate one of the hard boiled eggs! Definitely worth the trip.

Our guide Jim was super... - Our guide Jim was super nice !! Visited Three of Strong Spirit, Lone Pine Brewery and finished at Portland Beer Hub. I would have expected 1 more brewery but it was nice !!

Wealth of knowledge mixed with delightful booze and brews - Joined the tour solo and got to chat with Jim, the driver, before the tour started. A local of Portland, Jim had a wealth of knowledge and shared so much about the history not only of Portland but of the brewery and distillery scenes here. Wonderful experience!

A great time! - This tour was a great time! The bus took us to three different stops- one for wine, one for seltzer, and one for beer. Our guide and the driver both had great insight into Maine and shared great stories. We enjoyed the drinks at all of the places. We were really glad we did this tour!

Charming small group tour - Booked this tour on a rainy Monday and absolutely had a blast. The quality of the wines and brews were top notch and our drivers, both locals, were very entertaining and knowledgeable about the products, history, and culture of the area. Easily one of the highlights of the trip.

Walk and roll tour - Our tour guide Don was very knowledgeable about the history of Portland and gave a very detailed and curated tour of the local breweries, offered great recommendations of local restaurants and pubs to hit up. We had a great afternoon and enjoyed so many varieties of excellent beers in the Northeast.

Tour was cancelled - Unfortunately the tour was cancelled the day prior and we were not able to have this experience. Too bad, we were looking forward to it. The operator did give a suggestion for a rum distillery to visit.
