- Our next halt is at the Liberty Ship Memorial, where we delve into the shipbuilding history during the Second World War.
- Moving on to the second lighthouse, you’ll gain insights into its past and understand the crucial role played by Portland Harbor in the operations of the navy during World War II. A walk on the breakwater leads us to the lighthouse for a closer examination. Guided tours are usually available on Tuesdays and Thursdays for an in-depth experience.
- The third stop on our lighthouse tour features a viewing of the lighthouse along with Fort Williams Park. This is also our designated lunch stop.

Embark on our 5 lighthouse cycling journey in Portland, Maine, showcasing the mesmerizing coastal landscapes, legendary lighthouses, and the rich history of Portland. Due to COVID-19, we’ve made several adjustments to the 5 Lighthouse tour. The revised tour ensures no passenger rides in our vehicles. Consequently, guests will kick start their cycling adventure from Ocean Gateway, returning to the same spot via bicycle. Typically, groups will visit 4 iconic lighthouses - Bug Light, Spring Point, Portland Head Light, and Ram Island Ledge. An exquisite lunch will be served, courtesy of the highly acclaimed ‘Bite into Maine’ Food Truck.
