- Portland Head Light - As the oldest lighthouse in Maine, it was commissioned by George Washington and is renowned as the most photographed lighthouse in the state.
- Liberty Ship Memorial - This memorial honors the WWII naval shipyard, which employed up to 30,000 people. Workers constructed 30 “Ocean” cargo ships for the British government…

- Liberty Ship Memorial - This memorial honors the WWII naval shipyard, which employed up to 30,000 people. Workers constructed 30 “Ocean” cargo ships for the British government starting in 1941, and 236 “Liberty” cargo ships for the U.S. shortly thereafter.
- Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse - Built in 1897 in a caisson style, this lighthouse marks the west side of the entrance to the main shipping channel of Casco Bay. Nearby are Fort Preble and Southern Maine Community College.
- Fort Gorges - Modeled after Fort Sumner, this former military fort was constructed on Hog Island Ledge in Casco Bay between 1858 and 1864. It saw no battles and housed no troops.
- Portland Breakwater Lighthouse - Erected in 1875 and also known as Bug Light due to its small size, it was inspired by a Greek monument and crafted from cast iron. It is located within Bug Light Park, a popular spot for summer picnics and kite flying.

This was the highlight of... - This was the highlight of my whole trip in Portland. This was my husbands and I last night there and this is what we chose to do, this was by far the prettiest sunsets I’ve ever seen.

The whole crew was... - The whole crew was amazing! Mark was so funny and knowledgeable. We loved that the captain was able to jump in and point out things as well. Great experience and would bring family or friends back!

Do it! - Beautiful views! Make sure to dress warmer than the temperature states because the combination of wind and cold water makes for a chilly ride. The host was super informative and kind. In his words “the sunset cruise is my favorite”. 10/10 recommend

Excellent sunset cruise - An excellent trip to the Portland lighthouse and we then cruised around some of the small islands. Very good commentary throughout. Lovely friendly team and a nice bar as well.

We took 22 high school... - We took 22 high school seniors on this excursion and it was the highlight of their entire weekend away. It was a beautiful trip and very informative. Staff was very friendly and helpful
