EXCELLENT EVENING!! - We were warmly welcomed and invited to tour this BEAUTIFUL restaurant by "Joe" (be sure to look at the photos, tiles and fish tanks) and when we were seated he described our tapas evening: the wines, the food, the decor and the history. I wanted to take the cork placemats home! All the staff (lots) were friendly, observant and efficient. The Fado entertainment was wonderful and their performances were scheduled between our food courses so that we could fully enjoy it all. Our mother was using a wheelchair and they helped us with seating and at the end of our evening "Joe" took one of my mother's arms and helped us outside safely. It was the perfect ending to another wonderful trip to Portugal!

The Best restaurante in the Algarve - Fantastic night at Allgarbe!! First time and definitely not the last. Loved the Portuguese wine, very flavorful. The place was packed, and everyone appeared to enjoy it as much as my family and I did. The fado singer sang to us while we ate, her voice was so charming and touching. Loved every minute and looking forward to returning.
