Knowledgeable guide and expertly driven boat - Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Reuban was our guide and explained what we would be doing to find the dolphins. We found a large pod, which played alongside the boat. Afterwards, Reuban came around the boat explaining to the type of dolphins we had seen and what other dolphins and orcas could be seen in the area. Following this, we were taken on a tour of the caves around the coastline, with the boat being driven as far into the caves as possible to allow everyone a good look. Going between rock stacks and the cliffs seemed impossible, but our experienced captain knew exactly how to navigate through. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable half day out

Beautiful scenery - The coastline is spectacular in this part of the world. So pretty to be able to see it from the water!

An afternoon of fun and laughter - Fabulous from start to finish! Easy to book in the app, sat on the back of the boat where the captain of the boat translated into English what his crew were sharing. Although we had a lot of fun guessing what he had said. Soon found a unique way of communicating without the English translation. Such a happy team with outstanding local knowledge. The captain took us in the caves and spent a great deal of time showing everyone how to steer the boat and what to look out for. Great value, a beautiful afternoon with some great photos and memories. Thank you 😄

Fabulous photos! - Amazing views of the coastline and caves. The boat was able to get close to the rocks in order to take photos. Tour guides English not as good as hoped for.

Initial boarding chaotic but boat tour beautiful - NOT DOLPHIN WATCHING - Amazing views of caves and guide was very lively. Time to swim at one of the beaches is nice. But Viator’s description isn’t accurate - no dolphin watching you stay close to shore and no ice tea as advertised. Other tours will go out further to see dolphins for just a little bit more money. Reps getting you on to boats shout and look very stressed squeezing on as many people as they can. But they did accommodate us even though we were 10mins late. Not the friendliest but the caves, beaches and sea breeze make up for it.

Wouldn’t book again. - The trip was good, I can’t say the same for the organisation though. Standing in blistering heat with a child whilst the two people shouting the names kept messing up and everyone was half an hour late for the trip. Just standing with over hundred people who were all as hot and stressed. Then I was sent twice to get on a speed boat when I hadn’t booked that so I had to go and find my own boat and it’s was quite stressful to be honest with a 6 year old. I think being so stressed to start spoiled my experience. Maybe it is great for adults but I wouldn’t book again for my daughter as she was a bit bored. If you book go to another port rather than Portimão. It was disorganised and chaos!

Refund? Ripped off? - The skipper canceled the trip due to weather. The competitor was still taking a group out and just keeping 500m away from the caves as a precautionary measure. Our Skipper messaged me to cancel 30 mins before departure. Our €70 Uber had just arrived in town for the pre payed trip. He told me to try to try to get a refund through the website with which the vacation was booked. Wish me luck.

Beware of Manguito tours - We arrived at Portimão for our tour and as soon as we walked in they let us know that they were postponing our tour until the next day due to weather. We were leaving Portugal the next day so we were disappointed plus we had just spent €40 on taxi to get there but it happens! The guy then told us, we called you to inform you but you didn’t answer. I told him know one called me and asked him to show me where he called from. Then he proceeded to expand on his lie that one of his coworker who is not here must have called me. When I asked about my refund they let me know that they are not officially canceling but only rescheduling so we need to deal with TripAdvisor. So let me see, you canceled, you didn’t bother to inform us, you lied and then you didn’t refund my money. It’s just about the worst customer service. Both the operator and the captain were very rude. I will not recommend!

Disappointed - Unfortunately I didn’t get to go… never received confirmation email or any contact details. I provided my details including phone number and after charging me €90 no one even cared to give me a call. Complete disappointment…

Awful and chaotic - An absolutely awful experience. We had tickets for a 5:15 departure on a catarman, as advertised on this page. We got to the port at 5pm, it was complete and utter chaos; no signage, no guidance, no clairty on where we were supposed to be and how to find our boat. There was one single man dressed in regular clothing who was screaming things and names left and right but gave no clairty on the sitatuon and would tell people to get on random boats as they came without checking tickets or verifying what tour each person was supposed to be on. If you approached him with a question he would promptly scream in your face and give you a "go away" gesture. At 5:45, one final small boat arrived and we joined a group at random to get on. The boat was significantly smaller than advertised, was not a catamaran, and it was a very rough and turbulent ride (highly recommend gravol to anyone booking this). Despite booking for a 2.5 hour tour with a 1 hour stop at the beach, the tour was an hour and a half, where we made frequent stops at small beaches and a handful of caves, and the "tour guide" just announced the name of each place with nothing more to say. We did not get to stop or disembark anywhere. When not moving the boat was extremely rocky and uncomfortable. Highly do not recommend booking this tour.
