Port Royal - Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Port Royal, featuring the fishing village and The Grand Excelsior Hotel.
Port Royal is one of the nation’s oldest and most historic areas, preserving much of its autonomy and heritage. Once a haven for pirates and other outlaws, it still retains a strong maritime tradition. Much of the ancient city, once dubbed the “wickedest city in the west” in the 17th century, now lies submerged beside the town, a consequence of a 1692 earthquake that consumed about two-thirds of the then-existing space. Since then, another earthquake in 1907, along with numerous hurricanes, fires, and various population-reducing diseases, have afflicted the town. Despite these challenges, the waters surrounding Port Royal are a rich archaeological treasure trove, brimming with historical artifacts that narrate the daily life during the early days of English settlement. -

Kingston Parish - Explore the Kingston Waterfront
Take a leisurely walk along Water Lane, admiring the street art and mural paintings.
Make a brief stop at the Kingston Craft Market near the Waterfront. With over one hundred shops, Kingston Craft Market is renowned for its “brand Jamaica.”
- Emancipation Park - Located in New Kingston, the park is themed “Tribute to Freedom” and features an 11-foot bronze statue titled “Redemption Song.” It portrays a black man and woman gazing skyward and is situated at the southeast entrance of the park. The statue symbolizes triumph over the adversities of slavery. West African spiritual symbols are integrated throughout the park’s design, and the vibrant tropical plants and flowers create a serene atmosphere. It stands as a beacon of hope and freedom for the Jamaican people.
