Fun trip into the backwoods with stunning views - We had a fab 3 hour trip into the wilderness with Blaine. As well as spectacular views and scenery (although it was somewhat cloudy on the morning of our trip) it was great to hear about life in Port Alberni and the surrounding mountains from someone who has lived there all their life - it gave us real insight to the locality. It was fun exploring the forest roads and getting to appreciate the remoteness and silence of the mountains a short drive away from civilisation.
I'd definitely recommend the tour and hopefully I'll back again one day!

Amazing scenery and fun for any age! - We visited the Island in July, and booked a four hour Razor tour with Blaine in Port Alberni. I was skeptical whether I would enjoy this, but this was planned by my husband. To add insult to injury, we started out in the rain. I was wrong! This was one of the highlights of our trip! The views along the mountain were breathtaking- cliffs, waterfalls, mountain streams. Blaine was an amazing tour guide- very professional, safety conscious, knowledgeable (even pointed out mountain berries that we could eat), and so very friendly! He took time to stop at different scenery, and even allowed us to park our ATVs and explore a bit. Can't thank him enough for making our day so enjoyable! To top off an incredible adventure, he sent us pictures that he took- and we didn't have to pay an extra fee like most tours! Well done- highly recommend- you won't regret it!

West coast edge awesome tour - We spent a half day on this tour guided by Blain, we thoroughly enjoyed this day out and would highly recommend this tour.
Blain took us to numerous stunning viewpoints and even stopping for snacks beside a lovely fresh river/pool.

A highlight of our trip to British Columbia! - We were going to see the Douglas Firs in MacMILLAN Park and we added this half day ATV tour. It turned out to be the highlight of our trip. Our guide Blain was very accommodating with our schedule. He showed us some breathtaking vistas, all accompanied by good humour, interesting facts, and a fun driving experience. We really appreciated the great photos he sent us after the trip!

Awesome doesn't cover it! - This was the highlight of our trip to Vancouver Island!
Between the easy communication before the trip, to the amazing views, solid equipment and knowledgeable guide we had a stress free experience.
Blaine is a great guide, having grown up in the area he knows it well.
If you are considering this, just go ahead and book it. It's well worth it!

ATV adventures with a local! - An awesome afternoon spent with Blaine on the ATV tour! Blaine was clearly very experienced as a guide/tour operator and focused on safety from the very beginning. He shared a lot of local knowledge about the areas we drove through. We stopped at a number of points along the way to enjoy the views and to cool down in a couple of fresh water lakes. Blaine catered with plenty of cool water to drink and snacks for the afternoon. He’s the only ATV guide on Vancouver Island and well worth the time! It was and enjoyable journey up through the valley and to the top.

This tour serves up a whole lot of fun! - This tour was by far the highlight of our trip to Vancouver Island. It takes you on logging roads through the Nahmint Valley to some breathe taking views. Our tour guide, Blain, was super knowledgeable and certainly took the “wow” factor of this trip up a notch. Our most cherished memories of this experience are swimming in the crystal-clear glacier waters (yes it was very cold!), eating various wild berries, and relaxing at the beautiful viewpoints. If you are looking for a way to explore Vancouver Island and be one with nature, this is the tour for you. We would do it again in a heartbeat.

Excitement and the personal touch - What can I say apart from an excellent day was had. Blain was a true gentleman and very knowledgeable about the history and activities that went on in Nahmint valley. Blain's knowledge and coaching of the buggies was superb. Health and safety on driving the buggies was exceptional. We all had a great time with Blain. Great excursion, great day and a brilliant man. I would do this again when we return to Vancouver Island. I highly recommend this excursion to all age groups. Have a great day with a great host.

Family Adventure Vacation - We had an amazing family trip thanks to Blain and the folks at West Coast Edge. We couldn't have asked for a better time. This was a 3 day custom trip for 6 of us that Blain put together for us including the amazing Chef David who kept us all well fed with his exquisite meals which included Pecan Pie around the fire on Saturday night. The scenery was outstanding, make sure you check out the "Big Tree". Blain is an excellent tour guide who goes above and beyond to ensure everyone is having a great time and is very knowledgeable about every aspect of the areas we rode to. We're already planning a trip back next year.
