A tour that starts at Calheta Beach, visits Zimbralinho beach, and return. On the way you will enjoy the beautiful volcanic rock formations. Using a kayak you may get a better perspective to Porto Santo´s volcanic rock formations. Safe for children.

Embark on a kayak journey to Cal Islet:
This trip commences at Calheta Beach and heads directly to the largest islet. Explore its uninhabited beach, and drift near to the shore to get a better view of the galleries that were previously utilized for limestone extraction, and to marvel at the volcanic formations. The duration of this adventure can vary greatly depending on the group.
Zimbralinho Kayak Expedition:
On this trip, you start from Calheta Beach, paddle to Zimbralinho beach and then return to base. Along the way, enjoy eye-catching volcanic rock formations. In the seat of a kayak, you’ll have an excellent vantage point to observe Porto Santo´s volcanic geology. This tour is safe for children.

Bombastic! - It was a fantastic experience.
Even though the weather was kind of windy and waves were bigger than we would hope for, with Matias as a guide we felt safe and enjoyed jumping over the waves ;)
We heard great stories about Cal Islet and admired the island.
And plus - Matias was accompanied by the cutest furry friend🧡
Highly recommend the trip - as long as you are not afraid to get wet a bit ;)

Super kayak experience - Very nice experience, Antonio was helpfull, very opened .
Super excursion on Kayak around caves
We had problem to got on place on time because taxi run out cause of huge quantity of people, so Antonio came to us and driven to place when we had to start. Great experinec I would do it again.

Experience worth the trip to the island - Amazing experience with a great instructor. We felt safe the whole time, we received plenty of interesting information from Mathias and we had a pretty nice sandwich afterwards. We will definitely return for the next part!

Had a great time kayaking - Tour was very nice, we went to several caves and while going into them we got some cool facts and information about the formation of the caves and Porto Santo itself. Mathias took a lot of photos which was very nice. Lastly we went to the beach only accessible by boat or by hike and it was nice. I recommend this tour if you are ever in Porto Santo. Just note that kayaks are double kayaks and the ocean may be difficult to kayak in for beginners.

A perfect birthday surprise :) - We had an amazing adventure for my friend`s birthday! You will see spectacular nature and caves from the water that are otherwise not accessible. We could not have done it without a professional and fun personal guide! He went an extra mile and even picked us up by car. Just one tip - get a wetsuit, in April the weather and water can be still cold for a long trip!

A really fun and great experience - Although the weather was windier and the waves made our group rather anxious to embark on the kayak tour, the guide assured us it is 100% safe and would never risk the safety of the group to do the trip.
The guide has more the 12 years experience kayaking and he definetly made us feel a lot better about going forward with the trip, and we are so happy we did.
The kayak tour was really fun, most of us tried kayaking for the first time and it was more than a successful trip. We got to explore the clifs of Porto Santo, kayak inside caves and even have a stop over for a swim. Everyone loved it.
Would definitely recommend.

You won't regret! - It was one of the best kayaking trip we ever had! Amazing guide, breathtaking views, awesome caves that we got to swim to and unforgettable colour of the water. Simply a truly wholesome experience!

beautiful water - The tour was perfect. The guide was a little bit late and there was no briefing about the path we would paddle, but the caves, the view and the color of the water were marvelous. We stopped at Zimbralinho beach for some natural fresh water swimming.

Tour with a big potential but not the guide - This not my first kayaking tour and despite of the amazing views of Porto Santo the guide really upset us as he was really silent rather telling us the story about the island or various sea creatures that we have seen.
