Lagoa Verde / Lagoa das Sete Cidades - Sete Cidades lagoon is located on the wonderful island of São Miguel, is one of the most famous places in the Archipelago of the Azores, and once observed, we understand why.
This is the largest freshwater lake in the Azores, located in the volcanic craters that form the island, consisting of two lagoons (the Green Lagoon and the Blue Lagoon) that promote a scenario of extreme and indescribable beauty. - Igreja de Sao Nicolau - It is a small, neo-Gothic style temple. Built-in the century. XIX, it has an interesting collection of cryptomeria, on both sides until its entrance.
- Sete Cidades - On this tour, we will go along the dirt tracks starting at the crater of Lagoas das Empadadas volcano and then we will head towards the top of the caldera where we will be 856m high at Pico da Cruz where you will be able to see some lagoons such as the famous Lagoa das Sete Cidades, green and blue lagoon, Rasa lagoon and Santiago lagoon. Continuing our adventure along the top of the caldera with magnificent landscapes, we will have several stops including the Miradouro das Cumeeiras, a place where we will have a view over the entire caldera of Sete Cidades, lagoons, and the village itself.

Motivated, good guide - top! - Great tour, the guide put a lot of effort into it. It was a unique experience in the off-road vehicle, much better than the big bus tours you usually get.

Wonderful views - Fantastic trip - guide was great, the right amount of chatting and informative, without feeling like I'd been to a lecture. The views are definitely worth the trip, though we were on a cloudy day so telling the two lakes apart was impossible.

Amazing landscapes, friendly staff, hydrangea in abundance - Had a good time exploring the Sete Cidades with our knowledgeable guide. We got to walk along a beautiful lakefront as well as a country road lined with hydrangea bushes for as far as the eye could see. There was a small hike so wear runners. The weather was in the mid-twenties in August and humid.

Beautiful views ! - The jeep tour goes through the back roads so you get to see views that you wouldn’t normally see from the roads. It was my second try to see Cete Cidades lakes and our driver knew that the views would be better from a certain side and it was! The fog had lifted!

Awesome - Rui was amazing, half day tour was well worth it. He took us to “secretive” spot to get 10x better views of the aqueduct instead of the location on google maps which has a lot of tourists.
He also took us to a great spot for a good shot of Sete Cidades even though the weather was foggy.

Sete Cidades - We loved this tour! It was such a great way to see Sete Cidades from all over - the views were amazing. Our guide Phillip was extremely knowledgeable and made our tour that much better. Highly recommend!

Had a great time! - did a solo tour to Sete Cidades on december 26. The guide was a delight to spend the day with; the weather was great and the crowds were minimal, so got alot of great pictures.
I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in seeing the best Sao Miguel island has to offer

Fun time with Filipe - Highly recommend this tour with Filipe as your guide. He's the best! Very knowledgeable about the island, and talked about the environment, history, culture, myths, etc., all while calmly navigating wet roads and trails through Sete Cidades. Had plenty of time at every stop to take in the views, take photos, and ask questions. All credit to Filipe for making this a fun and memorable tour.

Ten out of ten - Our guide, Filip, was absolutely brilliant! He picked us up outside our hotel on time. He welcomed us before we jumped in the car. He took us around the west side of the island. He is very knowledgeable and had stories and facts to tell along the way. He made our journey memorable. Highly recommend!

Great tour and tour guide! - The tour was a great way to see Sete Cidades and the island landscape along the route to the crater lakes. It was a pleasure to have Hugo as our tour guide. Hugo was very enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable about the island history and its nature/environment. Got some great views, photos and memories of the lakes!!
