This Whale and Dolphin watching experience begins by greeting guests at our office, followed by a brief orientation (10-15 minutes) covering safety protocols, potential species sightings, and logistical details. Participants will receive a raincoat and a life jacket (required on smaller vessels). It’s then time to set sail, adhering to the guidance and signals from strategically positioned spotters along the island’s southern shoreline. Our vessels will encounter these extraordinary creatures, offering an encounter that blends enjoyment, exploration, education, and scientific insight.

- Your tour can be on 1 of 3 different types of boats depending on availability: zodiac (speed boat); fiberglass (open boat, more stable) or catamaran (big boat, WC on board)

Whale watching with racing in the open sea... unforgettable! - A unique experience, with choppy seas but we saw sperm whales and dolphins, and the staff were very friendly.

Great experience! - This was an excellent tour. The guides worked hard to find dolphins for us. Luckily we found several towards the end! No whales seen but it was still fun!

It was magical!!! - The tourguide and marine scientist was WONDERFUL !!!
I hoped to see dolphins. And we saw more dolphins than usual during off season. It was magical!!! we even saw a black dolphin - one in a million !!! feeling super blessed.

Worth to purchase - We had a chance to observe a migrating blue whale female with a baby, 1st seen since October. The crew was kind: Simon, Jose and Mark who was also very narrative. The approach towards the animals was very respectful without bothering them too much. That is a big plus grom me.

Perfect - Amazing, biologist was very passionnate and we had the chance to see dolphin very closed from the boat. We have also seen a blue whale.

Highly recommended - Highly recommended, we did not see whales because February is not the ideal time, but we saw many bottlenose dolphins that came close to the boat, speedboat, if you are a little adventurous it is very worth doing it by zodiac and not by catamaran, since they are faster to reach the areas where you find groups of dolphins and see them one meter away from you. Marc, the biologist who accompanied us, informed us and explained interesting facts. You also surround the island of Vila Franca, you see the island from the sea... it is very worth it.

Such a cool experience! - This was so cool. We saw common dolphins, bottlenose dolphin and were lucky enough to see false killer whales. The excitement of the crew was infectious. It was really neat to see the area from this viewpoint.

Def a experience you need to book! - We were extremely lucky on weather for the time of year. The experience was top notch! Got to see LOTS of dolphins, there were so calm and just chilling. Our luck really showed when we got to see some sperm whales! Calfs and females.
The guide was friendly and educational.

Dolphin watching NOT whales - Really disappointed by the experience. I flew out from England, for my birthday, saved up for ages to see whales but the team targeted Dolphins I’ve seen in England.
