Outstanding - best historical tour I’ve ever taken! - This tour (Askos Tours) was worth every penny and then some. We had the pleasure of having the knowledgeable and witty Yolanda as our guide. As a decently well-traveled history nerd, I cannot say enough positive things about Yolanda and her knowledge and passion for Pompeii and its history. Her tour was easily the highlight of my trip and she was outstanding in every way. I was skeptical to have a true “archeologist” leading us, but quickly realized we were with a true expert and student of history.
This tour is a must-do in Pompeii.

Sites like Pompeii need to be done with archaeologist guide! - Giulia was a very knowledgeable, professional and committed guide, answering all questions, very attentive and funny too. It was worth paying 49€ for her wealth of info and ability to explain it clearly. She also gave us authenticity and culture, with her Italian phrases, recommendations and gesticulating! Loved it!
