Vesuvius serves as our backdrop as we traverse the Antiquarium, the Basilica, the bustling Forum market, and the significant Temples of Apollo, Jupiter, and Isis. We will venture into some of the most splendid DOMUS, featuring stunning gardens, decorated walls and mosaics. Our visit unfolds further through ancient Roman shops and eateries, not forgetting sightseeing at the renowned Plaster Casts (BODIES), Gladiator’s training domain and the Grand Theatre!

Wine & Ruins - Riccardo was a great tour guide at the ruins! He was very knowledgeable and made history fun for my wife (who isn't a huge history fan). I loved his little tidbits and information as we walked through the central parts of the ruins. We loved Pompeii and I found the ruins incredibly interesting. Our archaeologist was a little bit more of a fan of the Herculaneum ruins, but he was very knowledgeable about the Pompeii ruins. The Wine & Food tasting was fun because of the other guests at our table. They were interesting and we had a great conversation. The wines were good the food was okay - but there wasn't much in the way of information about the wines and we didn't get to learn much about the winery or anything they do. The only negative was that our Van driver from the Pompeii ruins to the Wine tasting was smoking in the van. Not a great experience there and would normally have made me reduce a few stars - but the rest of the trip was great.

Pompeii - Riccardo was absolutely great! Knowledgeable and kept our 11 year old involved as well. He showed us things that were not on the map. The only thing I would change would be spending more time in the park. The wine and lunch were delicious the vineyard was gorgeous and we meet some new friends while we ate.

Makes you feel like a local! - The tour of Pompeii was perfect. Our tour guide Santa was a real archaeologist and extremely knowledgeable. The winery was unbelievable! The owner was there and talked about the family history of the winery, and all of food was great with generous portions. I would 100% come back to the winery!

Great choice for a Pompeii adventure - Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave great insight to what we saw on the tour. It was a great chance to connect with other travelers, too. Although we had to wait a bit for our transportation to the winery- it was worth the wait. What a beautiful place with delicious wines and food! Overall- a great experience- our only complaint was that the Pompeii tour was too short. A reason to come back again! Thank you!

The tour guide was... - The tour guide was excellent but the lunch and wine tasting experience was not as good. The food and wine was very good but it was very impersonal. The wait staff was not friendly. It was not a fun experience compared to other wine tastings we had. I would not recommend for the money spent.

Great tour of Pompeii, but better dining options available - The tour of Pompeii was fascinating and we had a knowledgeable and helpful guide. Would definitely recommend this part. The food in the winery was fairly basic for the money we paid, and the pasta was very undercooked (an italian in our group agreed). It was rushed and instead of being able to savour the different wines, we were having to drink the glasses quickly. We were then moved off the table to wait elsewhere for 20-30 mins for our transport, to make way for the next set of diners with no offer to buy any more drinks whilst waiting. We were dropped back to the Pompeii site and had a beer in one of the many restaurants before catching the train. They had a great choice of food and the diners were enjoying their meals at their own pace, so we wish we had eaten there after the tour.
