Perfect perusal of Pompeii's pyroclastic peril!! - Our tour of POMPEII was incredible! Our amazing guide Maria "Rosy" Rosaria was so knowledgeable. She really made the city come alive, as we walked the ancient streets and experienced what life must have been like. I loved all of the extra information that Rosy contributed; especially considering she customized the tour path according to our wishes. It was like walking through Pompeii with a genuine archeologist at your side !! (Which she is - in fact)
Well worth the effort, time, and money.
Thank you Rosy.
PS - bring a hat!! That sun is brutal! 🥵🌞

Brilliant experience with a wonderful guide! - Our guide was a lovely Italian lady. But I have forgotten her name! However, she led us around about 1030 for @ 2 hours. She explained beautifully the features and was ever so helpful.

Amazing guided tour, great guide. - Had group of 10 tour. Guide was very informative and helpful and we understood much more than with audio guide or walking alone. We found that everything started to fill up around lunch time so a morning tour for us was best. Please wear sensible sturdy footwear as terrain is very uneven as you would expect. We were able to stay after the tour and the highlight for us was being able to see the latest excavations featured on TV ‘The Dig’. It brought it all to life. Snacks available from vending machines in some areas.

Incredible experience - Carlo, the guide, was there earlier to assure the experience would start on time. He was polite, spoke English well and took his time to explain and show everything relevant to the tour. He joined historical and archeological facts to bring the ruins back to life. I was pretty impressed and 100% recommend this tour. You won’t be let down.

Great customer service - Amazing customer service! We were delayed due to bad traffic. They were very responsive and kind when contacted. They were able to get us in to a tour the next morning. We parked at Camping Zeus and a van picked us up at the Porta Marina (Pompeii entrance). They drove us down the road to meet up with our English speaking guide. You cannot possible see it all but our guide gave us a wonderful presentation of what life what like in Pompeii. I’m so very thankful we didn’t miss this amazing tour. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent visit to Pompeii with Max Travel - Our visit to Pompeii was excellent. I was unsure about our meeting point as there are so many tour guides around the entrance, so I called the information line and a member of staff helped us locate our guide, which was great. Our guide (Marina) was fantastic, very knowledgable and she had a lovely manner, especially with our two girls (14 & 12). We were lucky enough to be the only family booked for the afternoon, so it was a private tour. The site is massive, and we were left with additional points to visit independently. We would recommend Max Travel for a tour around Pompeii.

They didn't deliver... - The Contractor: 2h guided tour in Pompeii. What happened: I was caught at 10:00, we entered Pompeii after 10:30 and finished the tour at 12:00. The visit itself, despite good information, was poor in places in Pompeii. Even 1 term (it's 4 if I'm not mistaken) the guide showed us.
I strongly suggest: buy your door ticket and an audio guide. Make your own tour. Cheaper, in your time, without counter-tempors.
