Francesco was very friendly, informative and has fantastic knowledge of his subject … he was also really interesting. - Francesco packed a lot into the 2 hours. That he still works at Pompei as an archaeologist is amazing and gives added insight. Really interesting and makes the tour much more interesting. Would definitely recommend.

Guided tour of Pompeii - What a brilliant tour. Francesco was so knowledgeable and helpful and lovely to be with. Nothing was too much trouble and he took us on an amazing, informative tour - we got so much out of it that we reallly wouldn’t have with a bigger tour or no guide- I can’t recommend this highly enough - thanks Francesco!

The journey of emotions - An expert on the subject who managed to tell us and discuss the history, culture and tradition of Naples and the Pompeii ruins. A true professional who confers with rich and relevant vocabulary, content and deep culture matured through studies but especially during archaeological operations. He leaks his knowledge about everything he represents and is asked. A very polite boy, respectful and attentive to every manifestation of tourists. If I were to return to Naples I would like to be accompanied and guided by Him. I recommend it to those looking for a safe and reliable driving.

Pompeii is always Pompeii... - The tour was magnificent. We suffered a bit from the heat but it was worth it. It was my third time in Pompeii but the city never betrays expectations and every time you go you discover things you had not seen or noticed before. Francis’ guidance was invaluable, he is a precise, punctual and very prepared person in his field.

Excellent Tour with Knowledgeable Guide - Francesco took us on a superb two-hour tour of Pompeii. His knowledge of the history and archaeology of Pompeii gave us context for what we were seeing. A fantastic way to curate what would otherwise be an overwhelming experience for a first at Pompeii. Highly recommend him.

Excellent tour of... - Excellent tour of Pompeii! My husband and I learned so much in only 2 hours. Definitely recommend booking this as you won't know what you're looking at walking through the ancient city otherwise.

The best guide in pompeii - we had very good experiences with Francesco, we found him at the gate when he just finished his tour. We stopped him to ask if he wanted to give us a tour, we didn’t plan well so we had to find a randomly guide like this, but in the end we are super lucky!
Francesco works on the Pompeii site as an archeologist for long time, so what he gave us was not only stories, but also his work research, you will learn a lot new knowledge from his guide. He made it very interesting and easy to follow!
