Perfect escape from the busy city of Bangkok - Great experience overall. I decided the night before to out on a day trip, and I was a little bit worried the booking would be too late, but they were fast to respond and organise a meet up point. Got to see a beautiful area outside of Bangkok, learned some history of how foreign soldiers from the UK and the west ended up working on a Japanese railway project in Thailand during the second war, saw the train running up close. It ended perfectly with a visit to the National Park, where you can enjoy a hike and swim in the waterfalls.

River Kwai Bridge and Erawan Falls well worth it - At the site of the JEATH (force labor camp of Allied POWs) museum of WWII, we saw a documentary, a reconstructed labor camp, tools used during that time, and then walked across the bridge that was repaired after being bombed. This place is full of history. We loved it. Then we had lunch at a nice small restaurant in Erawan Falls and walked up to Level 4 of 7 waterfalls, each one more beautiful than the previous one. We also got to soak our feet in the refreshing cool water. Coming home, we encountered pouring rain for an hour before getting back to Bangkok by 5:30pm. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Our tour guide Na was very informative at the River Kwai Bridge and helpful at the Falls taking pictures for us. The driver was excellent driving on the toll freeway, saved a lot of time. People were swimming in the falls.

River Kwai & Erawan Waterfall Tour - Absolutely fantastic experience with our very knowledgeable guide Na. We also had a wonderful safe driver who took us from the WanderSiam office to the War Museum to meet Na. All the information was explained well and Na was a very upbeat, happy tour guide, also taking photo's of us or showing us good photo angles to take. The waterfall was also gorgous! And the lunch was amazing!!! (We paid for our own lunch at a restaurant of Na's recommendation and it did not disappoint!) Our driver then dropped us back to Bangkok at a more convenient location train station for us to get back to our hotel. Highly highly recommend booking this tour or any other tour with WanderSiam!

An Incredible VIP Experience Made Perfect by Our Guide, Na! - This tour was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. We booked it at the very last minute, but immediately received clear instructions with photos on how to get to the meeting point. To our incredible luck, my husband and I were the only ones booked for the day, so it turned into a private tour! All tickets were included, and the only extra cost was our delicious lunch. Our day began with a comfortable drive, and then we met our guide, Na. She was perfectly prepared, with museum tickets and a private boat already arranged for us. The tour itinerary was wonderful: We started at the war museum, which, while simple, was brought to life by Na's compelling stories about Siam during the war. The breezy long-tail boat ride on the river was a beautiful and refreshing experience. We walked across the famous bridge, and Na knew all the best spots for photos. However, the absolute highlight of this tour was Na herself. She is the reason this trip went from great to truly exceptional. A Master of Erawan Falls: Na is a treasure trove of knowledge about the falls. For each of the 7 levels, she gave us invaluable insider tips: the best places to swim, where to jump, which rocks you can slide down, where to find a hidden grotto, and how to avoid the crowds. Her advice was so good that other tourists nearby started listening in! A Professional Photographer: Throughout the entire day, Na acted as our personal photographer. She expertly directed our poses, found the best angles, and took dozens of amazing photos and videos for us. She worked so quickly and professionally, allowing us to simply enjoy the moment. We've never had a guide do this before, and it was an incredible bonus. The VIP Treatment: Thanks to Na's efficiency, we never wasted a moment. She navigated us effortlessly past crowds, instantly found a great spot for lunch, and knew exactly where to store our things. It genuinely felt like a VIP tour. Initially, her energetic pace and the sheer volume of information felt a little overwhelming, but her warmth and pleasant nature quickly won us over. By the end of the day, we found ourselves thoroughly enjoying our conversation with her about life in Thailand. In summary, Erawan Falls is a beautiful park, but our guide Na elevated the experience to an absolutely unforgettable memory. We cannot recommend this tour, and especially Na, highly enough!

Awesome scenery and experience the best of Thailand National Park. - Na was a great host and driver was efficient and prompt. Full of knowledge, enthusiastic and gave ample time to absorb the atmosphere and experience throughout the trip. She also taught me new skills in photography with iPhone. A definite must if you decide to go off the beaten track away from Bangkok for the day .

An amazing tour - We had the most amazing day exploring the River Kwai and Erawan Waterfall in Thailand. The trip was beautifully organised from start to finish, with a perfect balance of history, nature, and relaxation. The River Kwai was a truly moving experience – learning about the history and walking across the famous bridge gave us a real sense of connection to the past. Our guide shared fascinating stories that brought everything to life. Erawan Waterfall was an absolute highlight. The turquoise pools looked like something out of a postcard, and swimming under the cascading water was so refreshing. Each level of the falls had its own unique beauty, and the jungle setting made it feel magical. It was a full day, but never rushed, and we came away with incredible memories, gorgeous photos, and a much deeper appreciation for Thailand’s culture and natural beauty. We’d recommend this trip to anyone visiting – it’s the perfect mix of adventure, learning, and pure relaxation.

Great time. Very informative tour of Thai canals. Highly recommend. - Rode the long boats in Thai canals. Everything went smoothly and it was a fun informative time. Probably a must do for a Thai visitor. It was easy to get in the boats and the guides were very friendly. We saw an iguana.
