Great wines and service - We connect with a lady called Nyria for our wine tasting and she was fantastic. She was really knowledgeable about the wines and regions and made solid suggestions. Nyria is also really well-travelled which made for great conversation. Thank you both for the great experience.

Vertical tasting at it's best! - Second visit for us after a year. Treated ourselves to the vertical tasting and it was an absolute delight. The wine was wonderful to experience from 2005 up to 2019. Very generous and informative staff member who also let us taste the Hector flagship red. The charcuterie board was very nice. Very Covid compliant. Staff wore masks, everyone was checked in and we got our own tasting room. Even better visit than the first time.

Treated like family - Beautiful winery and knowledgeable cellar door staff. The Verscato was superb and worth dropping in for alone (which we did in 2019). We were members for a day courtesy of our accommodation at Leconfield House. We enjoyed cheese and crackers, whilst tasting some fantastic wine and learning a lot about the winery and its history from Jeff.

Winery visit - We picked the winery specifically for being child friendly and it’s absolutely not. We were given the excuse we had to sit outside in the rain because of the presentation of service for children. This was not true we felt that they wanted us out of the way. Generally what was provided as advertised for children was not delivered. The hostess was very helpful but when we ordered the wine the wrong wine was provided which we didn’t realise until we got home. Overall we would never go back. The manager did not revisit us as promised or asked if we were ok
