Great experience Tibetan lifestyle - Great experience into a tibetian life. We can meet a monk and find out about their life, routine, how they started the journey. We can visit installations, libraries, join a snack time, and view a cerimony with them. After visit monastery, we could know a small Tibetan village, and visit a home and taste Tibet food. We strong recommend this experience. The guide Thupten Gyatso is very organized and helpful. He explain about the history of places and people.

The best tour so far - No doubts this is the best tour so far. I travel a lot, usually alone and I often struggle to find someone who speaks a good English and who explains things properly. Thupten is a professional. Not only that. He knows the history for real and shares his experience with the guests. Definitely recommend it.

An experience to remember! - This afternoon tour led by Thupten was extraordinarily interesting, enjoyable and informative. He is a master of his trade. The visit with the monk, attending puje (chanting service) and visiting the Tibetan Refugee Village home was eye opening and humbling. Thug-je-chey! Thug-je-chey

a marvel - We made the visit within the Viajes con Corazon program, we were a large group, 14 people. Thupten treated us very well, we shared a lot of unknown and interesting information about the situation of Tibetan families, we attended the meditation in the monastery and we were able to enjoy White Wednesday, dancing with the families and children in the school yard. We also tasted Yack tea and the delicious Tibetan bread in Thupten's own house. A highly recommended wonder. We will repeat

Unmissable experience in Pokhara - Thupten accompanied us on an afternoon full of emotions and information to discover the world of Tibetan refugees in Nepal. We were able to visit the monastery, the school and a house inside the "camp" (a kind of small neighborhood on the edge of the jungle). But the real added value of the tour lies in the possibility of asking many questions both to Thupten and to a Buddhist monk which allowed us to live a touching and personal experience, not at all constructed or artificial as often happens in "cultural tours". Don't miss it!

One of the best cultural tours I’ve done so far - To start this review : I would like to thank Thupten for all the explainations he gave us about Tibetan culture, but also history : very interesting and helpful to give you the keys for a better understanding of the Tibetan diaspora and of those people, living in several places around Nepal, Bhutan, India… Visiting the village and traditional house was a great experience as well ! This tour permitted me to learn more about Buddhism, we spent a long moment at the monastery, watching some prayers, and most of all : talking with a monk, who taught us which are the foundations and values of Buddhism philosophy and religion.

Not bad - Good- personal interaction with a tibetian monk from the monastery. the chat went on for a tad too long. wish we could explore and walk around the monastery compound more. am curious about the living areas of these tibetian monks. very nice to visit a tibetian refugee family who of coure has settled since years ago. wish we could walk around the refugee settlement area more. overall, wish for more walking + seeing, less sitting down :))
