Drive from Pokhara (822m) to Birethanti (1263m) then Trek to Ulleri (1960m)

Ulleri - After a 1.5-hour drive from Pokhara, passing by Modi Khola and several local villages, green hills, and friendly locals, we will arrive in Birethanti. From there, we will trek through the picturesque village of Hile to Tikhedhunga, where the trail begins a steep ascent via a stone staircase. At the end of this trail, we will reach our first destination of the Gorepani Poon Hill trek, offering stunning views of Hiunchuli and Mount Annapurna South.

Trek from Ulleri (1960m) to Ghorepani (2880m)

Ghorepani - As the sun rises and illuminates the mountains, we will enjoy breakfast with a view. Leaving Ulleri behind, we will embark on our second day’s journey to Ghorepani, a 4-5 hour trek. Along the way, we will pass through beautiful spots like Banthanti, known for its Rhododendron and oak woodlands, and Nanggethanti, following the Bhrurngdi Khola. Most of the day will be spent trekking through the jungle, where, especially in spring, you can see blooming Rhododendrons and various wild birds and animals. Upon reaching Ghorepani, we will be greeted with magnificent views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli.

Trek from Ghorepani (2880m) to Poon Hill (3210m) then to Tadapani (2630m)

Tadapani - Early in the morning, we will head to Poon Hill to witness one of the most breathtaking sunrises. The panoramic view from Poon Hill showcases the beauty of Nepal, making it a favorite spot for photographers. You will see the Himalayas, including Annapurna, Bahari Shikhar, Hiuchuli, Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhre, and other peaks. After soaking in the views, we will return to our lodge in Ghorepani for breakfast. Following breakfast, we will begin our descent to Tadapani, a journey that will take around 7-8 hours, including the climb to Poon Hill. Despite the long day, the descent and the beautiful scenery will make the trek enjoyable, and we will reach Tadapani, our final destination for the day.

Trek from Tadapani (2630m) to Ghandruk (1940m) then take Bus/Jeep to Pokhara (822m)

Pokhara - Time flies, and we find ourselves on the 4th and final day in the hills. After our last breakfast on the hill, we will start our downhill trek to Ghandruk. The descent through Rhododendron and Oak woodlands offers the chance to see wildflowers, adding another memorable aspect to the journey. Before you know it, we will arrive in Ghandruk, a village known for its local people, beautiful houses, and fresh air reminiscent of Ghorepani. Ghandruk is a popular destination among Nepali tourists, offering stunning views of Annapurna South, Annapurna III, Machhapuchhre, Gangapurna, and Hiuchuli. After enjoying the village’s unique architecture and scenery, we will leave the walking trail and take a 3-hour vehicle ride back to Pokhara.

Poon hill trek - Excellent trip, would 100% recommend! Despite booking 36 hours before on arrival in Kathmandu everything was seamless. Our guide Raman was lovely and waited on us hand and foot, could not have asked for anything more! He gave accurate descriptions and timings of the trek and was encouraging throughout. The accommodation, food and views were beyond my expectations. Will definitely be booking through them again.

4 day Poon Hill Trek - an incredible experience! - We booked our Poon Hill 4 day trek when we arrived in Kathmandu via Laxman. We made our own way to Pokhara and were met promptly by our guide Raman. The whole 4 days exceeded my expectations. Everything was seemlessly organised with beautiful meal stops along the way, stunning views from our rooms in the tea houses and a beautiful route to Poon Hill. Raman made us feel safe and welcomed and was just a delight to be around. I will definitely be recommending to all my friends and family. What an amazing 4 days!!

Amazing 4 days trekking - We would like to thank the company Adventure Bound and especially Mr. Laxman, for our trip to Pokhara and 4 days trekking in the mountains near of it! It was amazing and impressive trip, the planning and organisation were at the highest level, with all the small details and with a very reasonable price. Starting with a real comfortable bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara (with AC) and followed by good transportation , accommodation and a professional and very nice guide, Raman. We fully recommend Mr. Laxman and his company. N@S

The best days - It was my first time hiking in Nepal, and I was fascinated by the beautiful scenery. Along the way, our guide Bibek's stories about Nepalese culture were also very interesting. On this trip, we were very grateful for the detailed support of Mr. Yasuda from the travel agency.

Poonhill trek - an amazing experience with Raman, an excellent guide - I had an amazing time during my 6-day Poonhill trek in the Annapurna region. The tour was perfectly organised by Mr Laxman from Adventure Bound. The mountain views were breathtaking and the rural landscape with the beautiful villages and rhododendron forests was spectacular. I would like to express my gratitude to my wonderful guide Raman, who always took great care of me throughout the tour. Raman is highly experienced, super friendly, reliable and always helpful. He answered all my questions about the trekking, the Nepali people and culture, the region and wildlife with great enthusiasm. Furthermore, he explained each day's trek in details and adjusted the tour to my abilities. The hiking with Raman was fantastic! I highly recommend booking a trekking tour in Nepal with Adventure Bound and having Raman as your guide.

Beautiful trek to Poon Hill - We got to see some beautiful views on our trek to Poon Hill. The highlight was the sunrise at Poon Hill on day 3. The lodges were simple and without heating, so bring warm clothes if you are trekking in winter. Our guide, Santosh, was really helpful and friendly. We had a great time!

Great experience along with a friendly helpful guide, Suresh - I and my friend joined a 4 days tour to Poon hill. We are both new to trekking and we are grateful to have such a patient and friendly guide to accompany us in this journey. Suresh did not give us pressure during the trek, he followed our pace and care for our condition a lot. Along the walk, we chatted a lot of things and it was nice to have him as our company. Although we cannot complete the journey due to high altitude response of my friend, Suresh makes sure we get back to hotel safely and ask for our condition after he left. We couldn't ask for more and hope that one day we can go back to join another journey with him!

Mr Robert Azzopardi - Rabin Magar was a great guide for a solo trekker, thanks for Adventure Bound for organising it. We went to lots of places where he had great local knowledge and was able to tell me alot about the mountains. He genuinely seemed like a lovely guy to travel with and i recomend him for future travellers. Every place we stayed at he knew people and would try make you feel at home. Full stars and no complaints.
