Excellent guiding in Tortuguero by Erik - By canoa through small waterways in Tortuguero with Erik. As a tourleader i worked together with many guides, but Erik is the most knowledgeble guide i ever met. He is friendly, relaxed and really loves the nature he is talking about. I definitely recommend to visit Tortuguero with him.

Excellent - Erik had some nice afternoon with us showing our Kids (12, 9,5& 5) and ourselves the secrets of Tortuguero. Listening to him makes a canoe-tour to an exciting lecture on the animals and plants of the rainforest, that doesn't feel like lecture more like an adventure story. The best of it is, that even now after our tour we learned how to walk and look for animals and have spotted some more exciting things, that we wouldn't have seen seen without him and the training he gave to us ... With one word - excellent - and THX

Silent canoe early morning trip in Tortuguero - Erik works for Tortuguero Adventures Tours and he took us out early in the morning to see Tortuguero National Park. We took a silent canoe.
Erik was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and he showed us plants, crocodiles, toucans, tiger herons, grey neck birds, iguanas, monkeys and many other animals/birds.
He also has extensive knowledge about sloths, having worked with them for a number of years.
I would recommend highly taking a tour with Erik.

All the monkeys you could want - Had a fantastic time during the tour, they use electric engines that are so silent not doesn't bother the animals at all. Erik drove us through the canals all around the national park. We got to see lots of amazing animals. One point to note though it rains quite frequently in tortuguero and often in the morning time too, they provide you with really good rain ponchos but do make your own preparations for rain too if you bring a phone or camera for pictures. I highly recommend this tour if you can only do one tour in tortuguero. Erik also was a great host and gave us some great recommendations for other things to do in the town as well as elsewhere in Costa Rica, even putting us in contact with a friend of his.
