- Herradura Beach - Costa Cat cruises daily to beautiful Tortuga island from the world class Los Suenos Marina. A short shuttle from Jaco or the surrounding areas and you will be greeted by a complimentary light breakfast onboard prior to departing in comfort across the Gulf of Nicoya in our 55 ft air-conditioned catamaran. Upon arrival at the island our guests have the option of going snorkeling or just relaxing under the swaying palms in their beach chairs and enjoying paradise. Next, our world-famous lunch is served. The next activities planned are some fun in the water on our banana boat ride, or a nature hike to explore the Island. Guests that are feeling adventurous have the option of renting paddle boards and kayaks from the friendly staff based at the island. Soft drinks, water and coffee are free all day; Rum Punch and Margaritas are served on the Island. Let our crew amaze you with the level of service one you will only find aboard Costa Cat cruises!

Additional Information
Daily trips to the stunning Tortuga Island are made by Costa Cat from the renowned Los Suenos Marina. A quick shuttle ride from Jaco or nearby areas will take you to our ship where you’ll be met with a courtesy light breakfast before we set sail across the Gulf of Nicoya in our 55-foot air-conditioned catamaran. Once we arrive at the island, guests can opt to snorkel or unwind under the oscillating palm trees on their beach chairs, soaking in the serene ambience. Afterward, it’s time to serve our globally-acclaimed lunch featuring both vegetarian and vegan choices as well as traditional Costa Rican dishes. Post-lunch, guests can either take a thrilling banana boat ride or embark on a nature hike to see the island and its magnificent ocean views from Tortuga Island’s elevated viewing points.

Go with Costa! - Great trip to isla Tortuga. Saw a lot of dolphins en route, then enjoyed the beach and terrific lunch. Great hospitality!!

One of the BEST things I’ve booked with viator - This was hands down one of the BEST experiences. The crew was amazing. The service was amazing. Food was awesome. Activities were well organized. I really can’t say enough positive things for this experience. 10/10 would recommend doing this excursion for anyone visiting CR.

A Not to be missed experience! - This is a not to miss experience! The Captain and Crew are all fantastic. Everyone is very attentive to the guests and looks for opportunities for you to better experience the island nature. Don’t miss the scuba diving! We also did the “mellow” banana boat ride, the hike, beach/Swimming and took full advantage of all the opportunities.

Tortuga - Tortuga was beautiful. The costa cat crew worked super hard all day to keep everyone happy. The snorkeling experience was magical. Would recommend to anyone visiting Costa Rica!

You will love every moment of this experience!!! - One of the most professional, accommodating, service oriented activities I have ever done! There were around 50 people on the boat but you were treated like you were the only one there! Personal serivice that was second to none! Highly recommend!!!

Amazing experience! - Such a fun experience! The staff were very attentive and made sure we were all taken care of all day long. Snorkeling, banana boat ride, and the catamaran were the highlights. Shout out to the staff again, they were the best.

Outstanding fun experience made possible by an unforgettable crew - From the moment we walked onto the boat we were treated like good friends of the crew. Their friendliness, attentiveness and genuine goal of ensuring we had a great time was so evident the entire day. We received personal attention from all of the members of the crew throughout the entire day from morning to evening. I cannot say enough about this wonderful experience. Highly, highly recommend this cruise!

Island fun - Really fun day! It wasn’t crowded so our group had the beach to ourselves for most of the day. Lunch was made on site- grilled chicken, rice, salad, etc. the entire crew was so nice and always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely do again!
