Pura Vida! - Had an exceptional time diving today with Sandra at Pacific Coast Dive Center. Highly recommend. No issues or problems. Easy to book excursion. I had some questions beforehand and the team responded to my email inquiries in a timely manner. The Center picked me up and arrived at dive center for check-in. Sandra was very helpful and got me fitted with equipment. The boat was well maintained and staff was helpful. There was a focus on safety while making it fun. We dove the Catalinas and Sombrero. Saw everything I wanted to see - many manta rays and white tip sharks. Lots of starfish and other aquatic life. The dive team pointed out what we say and answered questions about the area. Between dives fresh fruit was served along with plenty of water. Overall, I had an excellent time and will be booking again next year when I come back to Playa Flamingo.

Rusty Divers Have a Good Time - It had been a few years since we have been diving and Sammy made the whole experience wonderful. The instruction and assistance was the best. The professionalism and friendliness of all the staff was really great.

Great experience! - We had a great experience diving with Pacific Coast Divers!  We have been diving with Pacific Coast Divers for over 10 years.  This trip we dove two days and had Risky as our dive master both days.  He was excellent (the name is ironic!!).  He was able to point out all kinds of wild life and led a great and safe dive.  We saw eels, white tip reef sharks, pufferfish, rays, huge schools of fish, and so much more!  I would highly recommend diving with Pacific Coast Divers.

A great dive center for inexperienced divers - Great experience scuba diving at the Catalina Islands (Catalina South, Classico and Brummel). I did four dives over two days. Sandra was the dive guide the first day and Sammy the second day. Both were careful and professional dive guides who also happen to speak excellent English. They pointed out a lot of the wildlife to ensure we didn’t miss anything on the dive. We saw white-tipped reef sharks, eels, stingrays, a guitar fish, and many different schools of fish. Also, while on the boat on the way to the islands we spotted humpback whales breaching off in the distance. The boat captain stopped the engine (so as not to scare off the whales) and we were able to see the whales blow water in the air and see their tails when they dove again. Amazing and unexpected! Note: we saw no whales while actually in the water — only from the boat.

Safety first always makes a great experience - We felt this dive company was a truly quality operation with a strong focus on safety from start to finish. The boat was large and comfortable, easily accommodating a big group without ever feeling crowded. All of the equipment was seemed new and high quality. Dive Master Billy was especially attentive—he noticed right away when I needed a little extra help and stepped in immediately, which made a big difference and was greatly appreciated. As an added bonus, this is the first dive company we’ve ever experienced that removes your fins for you before you climb the ladder. That moment at the end of a dive can be challenging, and this thoughtful service made it so much easier and safer. I would highly recommend this dive company.

Amazing diving snorkeling and discovery dove experience! - Amazing guides. We were 4 certified divers plus 6 discovery dives and 6 snorkelers. I felt very safe during our dives. Our guide Risky was awesome. Boat crew was very safe and back office logistics were so easy to navigate. My elderly father was taken care of. Do this for the great dives and snorkeling and safe knowledgeable crew. Don't do for a luxury boat experience. Would highly recommend!

An excellent dive operation for worthwhile dive sites to visit, even if visibility is limited. - Very professionally run. Great staff in the office, on the boat, and underwater (with thanks to Ian.) Good equipment. On schedule. Good boat with adequate shade and dry space. Just a five minute drive from the office check-in to Playa Protrero, where a little tender takes divers/snorkelers out to the boat, which anchors about 50 metres from the beach. Nice warm water (81F/27C). Visibility is limited, but great variety of fish to spot up-close. Numerous black-tipped sharks, which can be approached within a few metres. I have done over 250 dives and will choose this company again in February.
