Amazing and magical place. - Such an amazing place for all ages, so much to see and do with experiences that will last a lifetime, I first visited Xcaret about 25 years ago and have never forgotten it and to visit it again was just as amazing as the first time.

The best thing was the experience with the Manatees. - The park is huge, one day is not enough. Everything is very beautiful, very well organized. The River attraction is very long, not to be discouraged, but you have to do it until the end, it is not worth leaving halfway, because otherwise you would have to walk too far to look for your things, which they give you at the end in a small package. We were incredibly lucky with Ricardo (Almost certainly the name in the photo), he was the guy with the manatees, who gave us an extensive talk about them and even let us touch them. You could see the passion and affection that Ricardo works with them. Very grateful for this opportunity. Very good park.

Expensive, but a good day out - Expensive for what it is. Booked via TUI, our UK tour operator as it was cheaper than online. We also booked the dual site photo package as we were visiting Xplor 2 days later. Order and purchase water proof camera cases before getting here, twice the price as online. We booked the swimming with rays and the speed boat as these two were on half price offer. The speed boat is well worth it. The water is warm, the spray stings your eyes, the experience is like no other. The driver and host were so funny. Lasts much longer than expected. Swimming with Ray's, the tank area is huge, you share it with the sea trek people. If you have not held and streaked a sting Ray, well, the backs are rough and Spined. The bellies are like velvet. Warm and smooth. The restaurant food is good, self serve and eat as much and of what you fancy. Loads of options. Food, drink and gift shops. God this place is Expensive. If you bring a family, do 2 or 3 activities and by drinks all day, gifts and keep sakes. You will easily be spending over $1000

A must when visiting Mexico - We booked this through our Tui Blue rep which included transport from our hotel to Xcaret and back, lunch with unlimited soft drinks, lockers and snorkel gear. Plenty to see and lots of walking, however we ended up picking a very hot day but had access to the cold showers to cool down. The lunch wasn’t great very dry and we watched a bird sitting on a loaf of bread having a feast which then customer cut the same bread to consume. Some staff are uninterested twice waited to be served waiting for the staff to finish sending texts on their phones before we were served. The best part of the day was the evening show, absolutely amazing 🤩 throughly enjoyed it, overall it’s a nice place to visit. The underground caves are a must and the cold water is a much relieved welcome and so clear.

Tough with a baby.. - We took our 9 month old baby here along with about 8 other family members. The park itself is beautiful and has lot of interesting attractions and activities, some of which also cost extra. The show at the end of the night is the highlight for sure, very cool! I wish we could have just came for the show to be honest. I rate this 3/5 because it just didn't feel like it was worth the money. We paid over $200 per person (not including the baby) including transportation for the Xcaret Plus package and we just didn't get to do as much as we thought. The park is huge! And it's partially our fault because having the baby did hinder us (do not recommend going with a baby to be honest). We had previously gone to Xel Ha and Xplor on other trips and I would rate those far higher than Xcaret.

Good but don't buy too much! - Well, don't spend more. Buy water protector for your phone if you can before since they will try to sell it to you there. The photo package is good so if you can buy it. The adrenaline activity is very good, the SEATREAK that swims with manta rays in the lagoon is quite bad for what they charge… If you buy a basic ticket, you can find lunch per couple for approximately $40. Bring water shoes and a change of clothes! The show is good but don't spend money on dinner, there is enough space for everyone and everywhere looks good!!

Too expensive, not worth it - I returned to Xcaret after many years and this time it seemed extremely expensive for what the park offers, I think they are going too far with their commercial policy. The show at the end is a real mess, too boring.

They scam you with a CRAZY conversion rate - I wanna be positive, because this is really a good place. But overshadowing all of that is what I realized when I got home… had me wondering all day. I bough the ticket at the entrance. It says 121 USD. However they charge you in pesos, which normals would be fine, HOWEVER, their conversion rate is 19,5 while the current rate is more like 16,5… This means I paid 18% extra for the entrance fee, because of this clever scam they’re using… Is this legal??? Make a price in USD, and then crank up rhe conversion rate… Of course I wanna pay in usd, but they told me it had to be pesos, and I didn’t think much about it with people in line… I’ll gladly change this review to my park experience, but the 18% extra charge scam is NOT OKAY.
