Tour with Rafael and Ave - Had a great time with this tour group. We had Rafael as the driver and Ave as our guide. He’s bilingual in both Spanish and English which helped a lot because some of us aren’t fluent or speak Spanish completely yet. I understand some Spanish , but improving my listening skills so a bilingual guide was helpful. I love how this group supports the Mayan culture and took us to a cenote that isn’t open to the public, this is also the only tour that is allowed to go there. The cenote was beautiful, the buffet food is good, the people are all very nice, I really enjoyed this tour and would book with them again.

Absolutely great tour! - It was a very nice tour with Ave & Raffa! Ave explained a lot and told me it was finally a tour without a “rip-off” The whole tour took a long time and we enjoyed every minute!! From hiking, tricycle riding to swimming in the cenote, everything was there! Last we had one hour at leisure in Playa del Carmen. It's just a beautiful area with lots of possibilities

Long day but worth it! - Despite getting a late start due to an accident blocking the roadway, Hector, Valentin, and Jose did a great job with the entire experience. Hector explained everything wonderfully, Valentin provided very attentive service, and Jose got us there safely. Both ruins sites were marvelous, and the absolutely beautiful and secluded cenote was amazing. Was worried we'd be too tired afterwards, but it wasn't bad at all - very glad we went!

A Day with the Professor. - This tour to Tulum, Coba, and the Cenote with 13 Baktun Tours was absolutely amazing! Our guide Ave, whom I fondly call “The Professor,” was incredibly knowledgeable. He brought every site to life with fascinating stories and made sure we were well taken care of, just like a teacher looking after his students. Don Oscar, our host, made the experience smooth and enjoyable, always ensuring we were comfortable and "hydrated" throughout the day. And Luis, our driver, deserves a special mention for keeping us safe even when the weather wasn’t on our side. This day perfectly combined learning and fun, a true cultural adventure. I highly recommend 13 Baktun Tours if you want to explore, discover, and truly experience the beauty and history of these incredible places. They were great! Gracias!

An authentic experience on Mayan culture - This tour was an authentic introduction into Mayan culture! Our guide made his best to share his passion with us. He talked about Mayan history, culture, science, and even mathematics with spirituality and a true faith. The lunch at the restaurant was very delicious, and the place had a good atmosphere! The Mayan ceremony before cenote swimming was a very special and unique experience. And I regard it as a huge generosity from the wise Mayan man! Cenote swimming was also unique and authentic. And we had a great evening by taking a look into the vibrant life of Playa del Carmen streets.

Needs Major Improvements - The transportation pickup should have been much better organized. First they changed the pickup time and location the night before, making it so I could no longer walk to the meeting location and had to book an uber. Then it took over 4 hours to even get to the first stop, Tulum. About 1.75 hours of that was sitting on an idle bus; 1 hour waiting for other passengers to get on, and another 45 minutes just standing idle for no reason (no additional passengers got on). Once we got to Tulum, there was another 20 minutes of waiting for the guide to get tickets. The ruins were very nice, but we only had just under an hour to see them. The guide led us and gave information for 40 minutes and then we had 15 minutes to explore (the tour details online said 2 hours in Tulum). I would have liked more time to explore either by myself or with the guide showing more of the grounds. The Coba ruins were cool to see, but again just like with Tulum, the tour advertised 3hrs to explore the area and we only spent 1 hour there. We were only able to see three out of the many sites within Coba so I wish we would have been able to spend at least 2 if not the full 3 hours there. The provided lunch was decent, but some of the other people on the tour found ants in some of the dishes (the pasta and one of the vegetables). The cenote swim was very nice. Between lunch and the swim we didn’t spend the advertised 3 hours. But in this case I thought that was fine, we didn’t need more time in the cenote. After the cenote, we made a surprise and pointless 45 minute shopping stop at Playa del Carmen. It was 7pm and everyone was just ready to get back to Cancun. Two things we did miss were the chocolate tasting in Tulum and the tequila tasting in Coba. Those were never once mentioned during the entire day. The tour was ok but not worth the early morning and the long day. This tour needs some major transportation improvements, and it either needs to update its description of the times and what is actually going happen (the tastings) or provide all the activities it claims.
