Well-run day trip - Daniel and Alyssa were our guides and they ran a tight ship. Alternated English and Spanish commentary that flowed smoothly and gave interesting talks about Mayan history/culture. 1st stopped at a restaurant/shopping center for lunch, food decent and not too pushy about buying stuff. Spent 2h or so in Chichen Itza, just enough time for a tour and doing a walking circuit yourself.

We had a great tour - We had a great tour with 13 Baktun Tours in Cancún. Visiting the cenotes in Chinitzen was a real highlight – beautiful and well organized. The food was very good, and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Everything was well explained and easy to understand. The price was very reasonable for what was offered. Highly recommended!

Besides the fact that we were in Chichen Itza for a very short time, we got food poisoning at the lunch they took us to. - We were too short at Chichen Itza, where we were most looking forward to. Especially since they kept us in the "Mayan village" for a long time where we were supposed to buy souvenirs, they asked us for money everywhere. Shamanic ritual - give money buy souvenirs. People in masks came to take pictures - give money. danced in masks - give money. Other dancers danced - give money. The worst part came later: we got lunch which wasn't very tasty, but it was edible. But later after arriving at the hotel we found out that we had food poisoning. We spent the whole night in the toilet, vomiting and having diarrhea. It was horrible. of course we were sick for the next few days. it completely ruined our vacation. !!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL !!!
