We arranged a private tour to accommodate my son who uses a wheelchair. Our guide, Angle, was knowledgeable and interesting, and he and our driver went above and beyond the call of duty to help us in and out of the van and through difficult terrain. After we finished eating we could go bathe in the butterfly cenote, they had to tell us to go to the ritual of a Mayan shaman and no one told us. We were able to take the last shot of Mayan liquor after insisting several times and running because everyone was already on the bus, in addition to not indicating the pick-up time at any time. We were going to take another excursion, but given what we've seen, I'll pay for a private guide and I'm sure he'll do it with much more care.
