Chichen Itza, Cenote Ikkil, Valladolid, and Mayan Cuisine - We went on this tour March 14/2024 and it was amazing! Perfecto and his crew were the best! Probably the best tour guide I have had in my travels. We had a fun filled day and learned so much about the history of each place, the Mayans and their calendar. You are able to get your Mayan birth certificate which we chose to do. Definitely the neatest souvenir I have purchased. We had specifically wanted to see the Ik Kil Cenote and chose this tour for that reason. It was beautiful! Chichen Itza was something else. It's a long drive but so worth it. Lunch was delicious (we tried the lime soup which was amazing). Valladolid was gorgeous as well. Would definitely recommend doing this tour.

Tour to Chichen Itza - Good tour is a must for anyone visiting the area, highly recommended, in this company the guide is good, the driver is good too. The bad thing, they sent us a small bus without a bathroom. Uncomfortable thinking that you will spend almost the entire day on the bus. Another thing that is not good is that in addition to the value of the tour they charge you 800 Mexican pesos or 45 dollars per person, supposedly to pay the entrance fee to the archaeological center and in reality the value for tourists is 540 Mexican pesos or about 30 dollars . We went during the solstice, so it was packed with people. The experience was beautiful.

Great tour! Perfecto the tour guide was amazing. - The tour was amazing. Our tour guide Perfecto was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable and explained the Mayan culture in a fun, easy to understand manner. He kept everything light and fun while still making sure everyone was taken care of. He answered all questions. Made for a super fun day! Couple things to note: it’s a super long day. A long drive from Playa to Chichén Itzá, so if you’re not down for a road trip this tour might not be for you. Bring water to keep yourself hydrated. The tour guides give you a couple bottles of water but it’s a long day. I wish we had more time at the Ik Kil Cenote. We only had an hour, so by the time you get through the crowds, change, walk down to the Cenote, you only have maybe 15 minutes to swim. Then you gotta hustle and change but not the end of the world. The culinary demo and small village of craftsmen are very interesting. Valladolid was beautiful. Overall great tour! Great bucket list and experience.

Not too impressed with the guide!! - We purchased the one day tour to Chichen Itza and Cenote. The communication was not clear about the $40 extra for the entrance fee for Chichen Itza on top of the tour charge of $89 ($79 + $10 for pick up at the hotel). On top of it, there were no options to pay that charge electronically on the day of the tour. On the way to Chichen Itza, the tour guide Luis cautioned us against buying anything from the vendors at the pyramid site. He mentioned that we will get a chance to buy souvenirs at the place where we will be stopping for lunch break. But the prices at gift shop near the lunch restaurant were ridiculously exorbitant!! Moreover, there was not much to choose from. We were extremely disappointed!! The tour guide should have been more outspoken and realistic about the shopping options. We lost our one good opportunity to buy some nice art and craft items that was available at the site. Lunch buffet was not great either. Drinks were not free and that was also not communicated to us ahead of time until we asked the guide. We were not even allowed to carry water bottles from the bus to the restaurant. At least water should’ve been served without extra charges!! My family and I love history... but the guide spent way too too much time explaining, repeating and elaborating. He could have explained more concisely and allowed people to explore the monuments on their own giving them enough time to enjoy the place and take pictures. I am neither too happy not unhappy about this experience. The nice weather and the beauty of Chichen Itza compensated for the other not so good experiences!!

***PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE... - ***PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ SMALL PRINT IF THERE IS ANY *** They make you pay 800 peso per person in person $48-50 per person more than what you already paid through Viator . It comes out very expensive and I don’t think it’s worth it . First off we had a schedule pick up time from the meeting location in tulum Starbucks they arrived 25 mins late no big deal because we waited inside Starbucks. When the tour guide arrived me informed us of the extra fee we owe . ( bring cash or they have a payment machine) The tour is long be prepared it is an all day experience and very very tiring. A lot of walking wear comfortable shoes . Bring frozen water or Gatorade if possible you will be extremely thirsty lunch isn’t until close to the end of the trip . I don’t feel like the tour guide is friendly to black family’s they cater to white people more I feel like . It’s sad Mexicans stereotype blacks and treat them differently they wasn’t friendly but was extremely nice to the white families
